Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hillbilly,
You do know this is not AIM don't you?
Another dodgy poster IMVHO
Announcement has been delayed to April 23rd
https://energymining.sa.gov.au/minerals/about_us/initiatives/accelerated_discovery_initiative
Looks like they updated the site yesterday.
Not ideal to get RNS on 1st April....
Thanks Stanley for fessing up; it’s exactly as I assumed.
Richy can relax now!
Not seen you here before. Welcome!
Well it isn’t me.
BCB did say he would give warning if and when he moved into an isa; it could be that someone else is managing their year end and new year isa portfolio....particularly if this is predicted to go north. Will also explain the lack of shift on Bid price
Hi Goldrider
Well, they are hardly predictions! That said, Bert is doing everyone a solid here....he’s kinda waving to say ‘helllllooooo, check out this 6g/t open at depth mine....’ you can take the horse to water, but a pencil must be lead
....Bert goes and throws a bone, but not a little one, a gold encrusted one!
Great RNS - so more than doubling the tonnage off the January results....bonkers! And look at the 3Km+ ground still to be drilled!
Sat on my hands on this. It'll come good when people finally wake up. Move along if you want a multi-bag this week, but don't come crying when you forget to buy your boat ticket. This is a buy and hold for me.
Cheers Bert....keep 'em coming. Good luck all

Hi Richy,
Funny you mention the buy-out....DTM said this to me earlier in the week; I didn’t repeat it at the time, but the ‘negotiations’ for the JV present Andromeda with a bit of a problem. There’s a whole series of options on the table and they are all going to cost andromeda cash at some point or it’s going to be an opportunity cost, the size of which is as yet unknown....bloody exciting I think
It reminds me of an email I sent last year to Craig.....in an RNS, he had stated that news on the JV would be imminent.....time had lapsed, so I enquired as to wether he was talking ‘geologically’ when referring to imminent....I was a bit tongue in cheek, but Craig hasn’t responded to me since.... :-0
I’m not really sure this is dropping; it’s just in between news of significance and that means patience wears fit many. I remember buying this at 5-6p, selling at 10 and then re-buying in the 7’s again. It just operates in a range. It’s range will move up as FS completion approaches and drill results come out
Hi Goldrider,
Well I’m invested in lots of areas; junior explorers is one area. I’ve only got £12k or so here, but have had similar in Hum in the past. I bought into hum very cheap and got out at 40p....I didn’t like the direction it was going in terms of mgmt style, went with my gut, against the prevailing opinions and have been proven right thus far.
Cora is a different animal; it’s fully funded for drilling, has terms agreed on production of FS (unheard of ordinarily) and my rationale for being invested is that the original investors (whom have enough to fund this) only floated this on aim in order to facilitate their long term exit, not necessarily to raise money. It was the liquidity at the back end they wanted, no horsing around with a sale etc.....let the market sort it out on the journey...
It’s a hunch, but I’m usually happy with my hunches.
This is nowhere near my biggest investment in a junior; I have one that’s seven times this size which feels like a punt at times. So don’t think you’re alone in taking big punts
Not sure that you can make a comparison between HUM and Cora, other than being in the same area.
Hum is a producer managed by someone I don’t rate very highly at all on many fronts, integrity being one. Vanity being another.
Cora is a business that has set out its aims and is drilling for the future....
I’m also not sure you are necessarily following enough junior explorers to have built up a decent knowledge base for yourself.
Good luck though. There’s plenty of explorers out there and lots of good people on the boards who will answer questions....
Yes Michael
Please explain; I’m ordinarily with you, however, you have truly foxed me on this occasion
Hope you are well?
Hi Rich and Wraith,
Yeah its quite odd. Dan and I had discussed this silence last week; I'd already fired off that "questioning" email to Simon, but wanted to determine an objective viewpoint prior to it's response, if one arrived at all. The fact that I am being responded to means that the subject matter is benign and they are just shutting me up.... I don't mind that....I'm hardly the AGM terrorist, but I can be an annoying Git.
That said, the deafening silence is proving fascinating without doubt. DTM has his own theories on this; he's not been quiet on here about them. I'm waiting for more information, but won't be holding off topping up if I get the top slice gains to do so. It's been a quiet first qtr in terms of my own returns. Made more off crypto than I have from physicals......go figure?

Afternoon All,
Last week, on Thursday to be precise, I wrote to Simon at Vigo to ensure that Cobra (BOD) were aware of the new process in relation to DTR5.
I received the following response today (so only a five day turnaround):
Hi Ian
Thank you for your email regarding Cobra. Please be assured that the directors are aware of their own and the company's continuing obligations.
Springton Trust's shareholding increased earlier this year because of shares issued to the vendors of Lady Alice Trust /Lady Alice Mines Pty Ltd which had already been disclosed in a prospectus.
Kind regards
Simon
This doesn't tell us very much, but it does tell us that they are "responding" where they see either a "need" or an "ability" to respond. I don't think I am favoured over DTM or Richy or Michael, moreover, the subject matter I was discussing was benign and therefore not subject to a potential black-out blanket (if indeed there is one). It shows they are listening, but just keeping quiet on quite a bit.....
Thoughts anyone?

Syphillis?
Hi RK,
Being a gentleman, it took me a while to work out meaning of your name....pmsl! Brilliant! You and Headzy have made me chuckle today.
I’ve scooted over Ecr so can’t offer an opinion other than I let it pass me by; I liked the leveraged upside here from my first toe-dip. I’ve only accumulated 3m over the past 10 months, whereas others have galloped in recently and taken even larger stakes. But I’m happy with this position I’m in. I’ve only paid for half the shares; the rest were all gains from elsewhere. The silence is like waiting fir the volcano to erupt..... I like tension. Hope I’m right in my choice between ECR and The snake
Brilliant. Just bloody brilliant!
Love it Headzy. You’re dafter than I am!
No volume; yet we have an increased bid. What’s L2 looking like? Is there a buy order in the background being filled?
None of which is very important, it’s just that I’m sat here having had a Covid jab, and because of my predilection for allergic reactions, I’m a little bored and thought I’d check in....
Hey dabber,
Nothing worth mentioning; honestly. Having spoke with Dan, we agreed I was looking too deeply into the shadows.....hence my desire to speak off board....I needed someone objective to tell me what I was actually thinking about myself....Dan obliged
Nothing to report really; I had my concerns over a couple of technical anomalies, as I saw it, and rather than be an indiscreet scare-monger, I looked for a level-headed sounding board. In the absence of finding one, I spoke to Dan! Lol!!! I really make myself laugh....nobody else, just me...;-))
Anyway, Dan was able to dismiss my musings. But it’s rare when he gets the cold shoulder fro the BOD, so there’s something afoot
