I don’t believe the Maersk fiasco was unlucky, there was always a lot more to that than met the eye. But having a contract preventing QFI from revealing any data was, at best, incompetent.

Re Morocco they’ve been desperately unlucky with equipment failure, but how many times will we hear that a deal is about to be signed?

The biggest unlucky hit they took was in Saudi, where they had 5 of the 7 signatures required before the Crown Prince locked up 500 businessmen and stopped the project in its tracks.

Vince - you have to remember that the shipping industry has always been on the conservative side. Ultra low Sulfur Fuel Oil was forced on the industry but has become something of a nightmare, with some companies labelling it ‘Frankenstein fuel’

It is beyond my comprehension that MSAR and bioMSAR have so far failed to take off. Whilst there is no doubt Quadrise have been unlucky on occasion (Marrakech / Saudi), huge question marks remain over their ability to market what should be a no brainer. As a 10 year+ LTH I remain confident in the product, but maybe less so in the company

Anyone who thinks we’ve been mugged again should sell up and move on. In spite of todays fall back - probably inevitable with the sudden jump profit takers and Xmas coming - SP is still up 89% on a month ago. I’m a LTH and have been critical of the board over some of their moves, but I’ve always believed in the product and I still do. The fallback today will give me the opportunity for another top up

Having spent 25 years in Saudi I saw firsthand the vagaries of customs officers , regardless of the agents used, and the issues that followed. You obviously did a great job moving stuff to Australia, and I can only take my hat off to your superior knowledge of how Moroccan customs must work! Why didn’t you step in and help QFI out much earlier instead of sitting on your hands and watch it painfully unravel?

I’m an LTI and although I haven’t posted much I do follow the share chat. I’ve shared LinkdIn posts and, when working in the Middle East, contacted Jason directly with potential opportunities, none of which were followed up.
They got into bed with pretty useless agents in Saudi, not once but twice. It leaves me wondering how many other times they haven’t just missed the bus, but not even bothered going up the bus stop.
I’ve always believed they had a great product. Over the last 11 years it’s become patently obvious that the issue isn’t the product, it’s the team who have displayed a remarkable ability to be snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I still live in hope, but sadly not expectation

How many years since we appointed a new agent in Saudi Arabia, which is a massive potential market, yet not a scrap of news from there! I worked there for 24 years for both private companies and Aramco. There are endless possibilities and opportunities! I think one of the fundamental issues is QFI choice of ‘partners’
