The same Nick Candy who is the major shareholder of a company that you are mocking for being socially responsible. Hmmmm 🤔

Surrey - People who do research know all about what MTL does for it's local community. They know about the mining awards that MTL has won and why MTL won them. They know why MTL is so highly regarded within the Philippines.

The LTH's here also know all of this and are supportive of everything that MTL does for it's community and it's employees.

I know you are not happy with MTL shareholders, you've said it often enough (we're a red flag apparently and yet we are just like CNR holders ten years ago when you first invested in CNR) so if you are also not happy being invested in a socially responsible company then sell up and move on.

The longer you stay here the longer you will be hating yourself.

The fundamentals haven't changed from 4.96p to current 6p levels.

Some MTL holders are happy to wait for dividend payments so the SP doesn't matter to them. The SP doesn't even affect the company now as they no longer need to raise funds when they are generating cash at these historic levels.

Getting rid of disgruntled ex-CNR holders will leave a more stable and supportive shareholder base for MTL.

There is some additional plant to incorporate into the existing process. It is only one item iirc.

Broomtree - From the "Quarterly update to 31 December 2024" RNS

"The Company's cash holdings at 31 December 2024 were US$32.0 million (30 September 2024: US$10.9 million). This cash position included US$27.8 million reserved to be applied to satisfy the maximum cash component portion of the Condor Gold takeover. The cash consideration will be paid to Condor Gold shareholders during January 2025."

Paid in January, two months ago, so what are the current expenditures that you are implying that would cause MTL to be "not currently FCF positive"?

Lee - That $12.5m is spread out over the next six months so plenty of cash being generated by MTL to currently remain FCF positive. Don't forget that La India is now expected to be producing in around 6 quarters time.

Broomtree - What facts have you posted that Lee is ignoring?

Do you remember stating that "MTL is not currently FCF positive" less than 5 days ago? Show us the proof. We'll wait.

The tumbleweeds are left over from the "other" bid/bids that was/were coming in.

Was he pushed or did he jump? We may never care.

He now has zero influence on the direction of the company which is a phenomenal result. As I have previously posted, this BoD has the ability to get rid of troublesome shareholders and now it would seem, less than capable Board members.

This will get interesting seeing the usual posters who have been slating Mellon and the previous posters who slated Nick von Schirnding's appointment now tying themselves in knots try to say them leaving is now bad 😂

If 25.1% of votes were against the deal it would not have happened.

Surrey - It was a deal that was voted for, in a democratic process, by CNR shareholders. The vast majority of the votes cast were for the deal.

If you were so against it, as you repeatedly said you were, why didn't you vote against it?

So Surrey wants to see immediate progress.

Hmmm, you do know that mines are built, processing plants have to be purchased and constructed don't you? It is a major project to undertake.

The timetable of events was been published a month ago. Is anything running late yet? Any delays notified? I thought not.

If you're unhappy about the deal that the CNR board negotiated on their shareholders behalf, go cry about it on the CNR board. You were against the deal from the start, so why didn't you vote against it like you said you were going to so many times?

Why didn't CNR get the £1.00 per share deal that you were initially expecting? Why didn't they get the 60p a share deal that you said you would be happy with?

Could it be that your expectations are a little out of sync with, you know, actual reality? Hmm that sure would explain a lot.
