Andypaps - Drachs bought their first tranche of MTL shares on 24th April 2024. Less than 3% so no TR-1 issued.

Second tranche bought on 20th June 2024. Crossed the 3% threshold (and then some) so TR-1 issued.

Why would somebody who wants to buy a company help that company to buy a huge assett and thus contribute to driving the value of the company higher?

The previous two major shareholders put an offer of 13p in 15 years ago which valued the company at about £35m. It was rejected by the other shareholders.

Now MTL is valued at £260m, which means Drachs would have to be offering at least £214m to just take the remaining shares. 75% of the remaining voting rights would have to vote to accept the offer. It's not going to happen.

WorryBuffet - Drachs increased their holding in MTL to 17.9% yesterday after buying some of Jim Mellon's holding there. Drachs has been consistently buying up MTL shares from the disgruntled former Condor shateholders who decided that they liked being underwater so jumped out out of the lifeboat that MTL had offered them.

Should see a TR-1 RNS tomorrow if it was Drachs.

CVR's can't be put in an ISA. HMRC deem that they are not a qualifying investment.

Ramping? On a share that has gone from 0.5p to currently 7.65p!!! Stating facts isn't ramping.

If you had just held the shares that you stated you bought at 1.9p and not sold them, as you stated you had, less than a month later, how much better off would you have been?

I'm not stating with hindsight that you should have done this, that or the other. I stated over five years ago, February 14th 2020, that the SP would be multiples of what it was at that time. I stated it again this year around the same date.

Leo only posts on here when he wants a lower entry price. Has admitted to trading this share in the past and just tries to use any tenuous position to try to cast doubt in the hope of a lower entry point.

I can remember Leo asking Lee how he sleeps at night having 5m shares when the SP was about 1.8p which was less than two years ago. Lee's 5m shares are now at least £280k better off now but I know he's added more since then so he's sleeping soundly at night.

I remember Leo posting how it was bad news that one of the former major shareholders had so much power over the BoD, the same former major shareholder that the BoD got rid of for 5p per share a year ago.

Now we have Leo's interpretation that MTL wanting to reduce shareholder dilution should be causing us all to worry.

Slippery1 - I assume you are referring to the Resource CVR and not the first pour CVR. If so, the ayments due under the CVR, will be settled by way of the issue of either New MTL Shares or unsecured Loan Notes, or a combination thereof, at MTL's sole election, following the third and fifth anniversary of the CVR Commencement Date as per Recommended Offer RNS 4th Dec 2024.

So either New MTL Shares or loan notes. No mention of interest rate but if anyone has a link to any publication regarding interest rate on any potential loan notes will hopefully post it on here.

Cuckoldking - You forgot to mention the 1400% since Darren Bowden was appointed almost six and a half years ago.

Surrey's 20m shares will be doing alright if MTL manages another 1400% over the next ten years 😂

The 5 year period from the "Mobilisation Date" expires on 22nd April 2030 which is in, just over, 4 years and 11 months time.
