RE..fre1..post...i entirely agree...there is not much to drive the sp at mo...this could well sink lower ..especially in view of overall market sentiment and woes...i would like to be more positive...the auditors obviously were right in delaying their report...and the weaknesses encountered will take time to deal with...yes these sub £3 sps look great..but the sp is low for good reason...SMS has worked hard growing the company ..lets hope things come good over time..gla

there is a long article on s4 in sunday times business section..and it also refers to pwc audit report issued on saturday...what the market will make of this i dont know..gla

cannot make heads or tails of this lot...sp is too volatile ..the company is suffering over governance issues primarily..its a shame..sp in the short term could go lower..tantalising!,

its nice to have the results and quarter update shortly......i think the share price has been partially dented going forward and therefore it may take a while to really recover which i am sure it will...there will possibly be good entry points..the worlds markets are topsy turvy...eg dow up 900 odd points one day and down similar next day last week...

i wish to buy shares in aviva to hold ...presume i should wait till upcoming spec div and consolidation is complete or would i benefit buying now.?

i cannot think that this carry on is going to be good longer term for the share price...some lasting damage is being done here by the companys continued silence....very silly situation.....

despite negative comments about the ceo and company strategy on this board i do feel the present ex div price is tempting ...i also feel the large correction in the price recently was very much overdone...time to buy...

it occurs to me that when things get moving again the share price gains may be more measured on the basis that tech stocks may not seems as attractive in todays markets (war..inflation etc...) despite MS's obvious appeal...

the general consensus appears to be that there is probably not much if anything to worry about with regard to the reporting delays......if that is the case then why does the share price not reflect this..? .. am i being too simplistic..?. or is that the way the market works....?

educate me....why does the share price go down 3% when many more shares have been bought than sold..am i missing something or is there no real correlation ..and if so why?

yes petevid ..good point...this is all about ones risk appetite..

some sensible comments from bridgedogg and rock etc...i have followed this share for some time and glad i did not invest top side..my only concern really is say buying now and then watching them slide further in the run up to any further news..there is some risk in buying now..to sum up may be i want my cake and also want to eat it. ...any comments people.?

here we have a relatively high profile company with plenty of investors....the share price has been volatile..yet no reassuring comments have been made by the company..each day is an age these days..if sms wants a wall st quote he will have to do better...he is letting himself and shareholders down and also the businesses which he acquired...this just is not acceptable...what a carry on...

to buy or not to buy at present..you takes your chance..or wait for the waters to clear..very interesting

if MS and his co directors start to buy at current levels this would surely be a positive move.....come on chaps !!
