hi..its me instead. yes you have to hold at close today for the div, atb
hi....like tune has said its best to make your own decision. a stronger company now imho and personally I would be surprised to see sub 300 again. im a fan of div reinvestment as more shares... worth a hold and buy more on any serious dips for me. also if you don't need the money back anytime soon, why sell? no bad news around for sl. atm as far as I can see. atb gla
sid...I had sl. shares free on floatation...sold them off last year lol im not bothered tbh...stronger company now and trading in a higher range. reasonable div payer also although not the best ive got. cracking rise today off support...don't thing we will go wrong... atb
in myself on fri at 331.2 your 400 entirely possible a nice 20% or so profit plus interim div...just got to be done gla
hi ...lol.... kaz is driving everyone mad, still think its worth a long term hold although not buying more atm, not selling out anytime soon myself, as for bnc...well done on your top ups, great prices you got there, like rdsb to play the cyclical swings..decent div overall...quarterly like bnc although yield not as good. topped up there on Friday. atb gla
jim...thx for reply since my post this morning, shares have now been credited, im sure yours will be along very soon also. atb
anyone else not had their extra shares credited yet? im with tdw..the rights is still showing but shares not appeared yet
writing was on the wall as long as a year or so ago imho its a sad business sorry for holders atb
might make sense if your talking about short term trading but this is an investment share that went up 400 % in 20 years plus divs on top that included at least one r i that i know of your scare tactics wont work on a company this big
guys..why are you worrying over a few percent you would be lucky to buy exactly at the bottom in any case ng is a good div yielding investment share for the long term you will never get rich quick on this and should not bother even trying atb
recommended queenie you spent those tesco divs yet ? lol atb
yes some profit taking would have taken place stocks often fall by more than the div amount after ex div it sometimes works out to sell before div and buy back after, although not always. long term investors dont worry about this though and just hold and compund the divs over the years. it was the rising bond yields that sparked off the selling though imo, not just with ng. but with other good yielding defensives. gl and atb
loving the after hours rns gla
yes...first class share to hold long term with divs reinvested in maybe an isa can see some swings on this, come later on in the year better prices may come for buying or top ups will be top ups for me as you say this is an income share, not some get rich quick one its partly the div policy that has driven this so high recently imo atb rec
