Jg..I suspect 40% was a more reasonable figure. However the interview didn't ease market fear..and then when stop losses and if there were a big seller

So that figure is meaningless.

Clearly something wrong...and they didn't give a reduced offer.

Now at this price...it will be interesting to see what that company do. Different game

If they come hunting then that would be good...if they don't...then that speaks volumes.

IMHO it is difficult to know what is going to happen with this stock.

The drop was massive on that rns...something was behind it . Was it a big holder selling out eg perfect storm

Or does the market know something more.

Why was there a big seller? Timing or fear or knowledge.

Friday was an obvious trade...but we could still go either way.

The interview with the bod was awful...they clearly knew more and were avoiding answering...which is not a good look. Then they didn't reassure holders after massive 60% drop. Both are not good looks.

I suspect the review is to with write downs. Eg they claimed too much and so profit was understated..eg more tax needs to be paid etc etc

The other company has just been through similar and the extra profit was then accounted for in a later tax year

I was recently reading an end that sounded very similar. Another company had a similar review

Looking at a company that had a similar review..the additional profit there was repaid over a number of years...

They said that the review results wont be in before next figures

IMHO a deal will be done shortly after trump returns to power.

Both are locked in a stalemate with neither party wanting to lose face.

Trump coming in gives everybody a way out. Yes Ukraine are going to lose some land..but without nato proxy war help...and let's remember they weren't a member they would have list the country.

Not ideal situation but will save 100,000s of lives.

Hopefully UK will then do the right thing and lift sanctions which hurt UK investors and nobody else

Just wanted to rebump this thread as it got lost in some of the other threads.

I think it is important in light of the return of some of the crew who in my opinion only seem to appear for a pump and dump prior to a trading update

Thanks atan ..was a no brainer. Good thing about ftse 350 companies is that you know they are probably decent so even if trade goes against you..you will recover it.

Unlike aim..where you can get stuck in due to lack of liquidity or it crashes .

I am sure you got it but ....The point I was showing was that I earned almost 3 x total odd trades for the day in profit. Shows how illiquid cnsl has become.

I am sure your day rate is enough to keep you in a decent vintage!

Atan..good point . I see trades totalling less than £1400.

To put into perspective I have had to wait in all say for workmen. Did some day trading and am currently £3- 4k in profit

It is not significant that the amount is small relative to other covid expenditure.

The contract states that odx/ cnsl have to pay back the pre payment. If not in product in cash.

The gov cannot be seen to give money out to a company....they would be liable to claims from competitors saying it is not fair etc

I have sympathy for cnsl as they signed a contract which favoured the gov...however a contract is a contract and they were adults backed with a legal team.

The counter claim seems a bluff to me..along with the delaying tactics ...but ultimately it will come down to how bad the gov want the money. The way Labour are behaving suggests to me that they will " want it" and " get it"

You seem to have misunderstood what I actually posted. I said that accubio had bought the old odx site..and taken on the former odx CEO on . My question was whether the gov equipment was still left in place on the premises? Had it been collected or is it been " left" behind

I think the gov understood the contract much better than odx..and there lies the problem.

I suspect odx got very excited by the thought of gazillions of pounds and signed...not fully understanding that it was a " non contract" contract and even that there was a time limit!

Having read the contract myself several times ...it certainly covered the gov and not odx.

Unfortunately I only got access to it after I had piled in and the so crashed.

Faye...i personally don't see any relevance in whether odx were part of the consortium or not. I suspect Kate Calder thinks / hopes it might give some special status. Unfortunately I don't think this will be the case as the gov have been pursuing them for hard earned tax payer money for awhile now.

The recent change in gov has left cnsl even more vulnerable as they had no deal with a labour gov at all.

Don't see what relevance being a member of that consortium is? The gov only bought a small amount of antibody tests from the consortium and then didn't use them again as far as I can remember.

It didn't offer the members any special privileges as demonstrated by the fact that the gov never bought lft off odx. It certainly won't stop the gov pursuing them for hard earned tax payer money owed

Ncyt were actually providing the NHS with tests..something that odd didn't do
