I would disagree, trading volumes are very low, the whole market tends to drift at this time of year, esp as news is dripping through slowly, positives, the team has grown considerably, the assets are being proven up and some brought into production, with expectation of decent income by year end, nothing has changed really, all is a process that takes time, it is holiday season, soon we will start getting assay results, news on income flows from Africa, new bod appointment, etc. I am personally confident and excited to see how this pans out, no loss in positive feeling for me.
As I read it the 2nd raise would allow enough capital to progress african assets on top of the 20-22000m drilling at Bushranger, so not expecting any raise any time soon, some good news on cash flows coming on line in Africa will ease the minds of many, and should give volume a good boost too, that along with updates on assays all round.
I really liked the bit where he brushed over the 2MT at 6:49, saying it was "very reachable", with the confidence that is a given really, though listening it would seem the preferred option now is to prove up an open pit, as of course that paves way for more rapid development, and getting attention of AA et al, the rest of the deeper stuff will still be there after 20 years, and the processing plant will be in place, the 15MT annual throughput figure was also an off the cuff remark, I felt he was very happy with the interpretation of IP data, in that modelling/targeting so far had proved to be as expected.News from Africa would be very nice too, it must be very close...
To me the point is to show the base line from where we are starting, the worst case scenario, any new data will simply allow the model to be expanded and allow us to see how it grows, find some higher grades extend mineralisation, and we are off. Noting they said that 0.15% copper is economical at 4 usd/lb, and we already know there is well over 900 m at 0.3 from first drill.
No news is good news, but the market missed the point, or so said Colin a week or so ago.
These new rigs were supposedly, (from the start) required to have a range to 1,500m + was my understanding, so guessing that may be the reason they appear to be a different company. Question is do they also drill at an average 70-80 m per day? Time will tell of course, but an update on progress would also be nice.
If you listened to Colin's earlier interviews on the subject, it was mentioned regarding an initial open pit, 15 to 20 years with block caving access then being easy, which has been done in many locations, including at Cadia.
The block caving ends up like ants nest in some places, differend caves, different minerals, and lots of conveyor belts, linked through underground tunnelling, once up and running it becomes economical to process very large tonnages.
It is a proven model, so what we have does look very good indeed, especially if the multi porfrey district is confirmed.
A Eureka moment is due too.
That article said "potential as early as this quarter", when referring to Manica.
I liked that :)
I believe it a very reassuring going concern message, it is very different to previous years, being very positive on its message, and is projection to June next year, with indication of income streams on target, plus we must have a big amount in bank from the raises since year end.
All very good to me.

Empress in that presentation are again very upbeat with their 2.25% Royalty in "Manica", MMP, as their first revenue stream, commencing before the year end, earning them 1m plus per year going forward.
It bodes well for the patient here, as we will receive around 10x that income ourselves, basically from Fairbride.

I used to like the late morning RNS'S...
What a poorly researched post..... possibly a friend of the Freelancer for the Daily Mail?
Patience old chap, patience, no news is good news as Colin said, though it is frustrating
Or Thursday
Last we heard of Manica was Q4, 20? So obviously Q1 won't be great Alluvial production wise, Q2 should be a bit better, so results of Q1 worh update as to current progress on all other fronts would work wonders in my book.
Well, listening to the first 17minutes of that takeaway chat, I believe you filled the missing
Now to listen to the rest....
Reading what I have read, looking again at IP survey sections, and listening to the presentation, I am very happy to hold, this next 6 months will be very interesting indeed.
Seeing the scale on the IP sections, am I missing something, the anomaly would appear 2 to 2.5 km wide, extending, and widening to South East, when Colin now says intention is prove Jork to world class scale, coupled with his comments of previous share talk where he suggested a 15 to 20 yr open cast pit to access the deeper porfrey system via block caving, now I have no problem understanding the possibility that that can become reality.
Hopefully, he can introduce us to the African team also one day, things should be moving apace, on several fronts.
Actually it's only just over 6% drop since friday close, we have dropped far further on two days of the week in several weeks that finally end up positive, not as if a huge number of shares are being traded, I strongly believe that patience will pay off in the long term.
Of note there has been no evidence of flipping from the last placing.
We also need news of new appointees geo's etc, and of course the progress at theAfrican assets, dry season now.
Sort of annoying really yesterdays UT at close, leaving yesterdays price movement in for a second day. It does feel like games are being played.
That aside we wait for news.
Good excuse for a monday morning dip, seems a regular occurrance.
