man I really don't want to put any more money into this stock lol
@magpies1962 thanks for the summary, appreciate it.
Funny thing is, I also have a bit in funds lol. I've never been part of an rto before so it is a new experience for me (and many others I assume). I was a bit careless with this stock tbh as didn't do enough research initially, but I guess manybofnus didn't also expect an rns as we did yesterday sadly.
I listened to some of the podcast mentioned earlier and it does seem like this new company has a lot of potential. I guess it's a case whether to keep our cash in there or not (for whatever we have left of it that is). Thanks again mate
It's the last rns sentence that got me thinking. When the 10th may rns said that the board are forgoing their cash incentive from this rto gets me thinking that something bigger may be brewing with this (all speculation of course lol)
You got a link? Couldn't find it on google
@jackdaw99 based on calculations then (based on rns be it right or wrong), if there were shares in the 100,000s, how would that get calculated. So let's give a scenario:
Person x has say 800,000 shares at I dunno say £5k. After the ridiculous consolidation, what would the shares be worth now? (And the warrant).
Trying to get my head around this as it's confusing in the rns (and a bit annoying lol)
I think we need to take a step back. Yes it's not the best of deal considering the consolidation (I'll be losing £1000s likely if this goes ahead).
BUT (and a reserved but), the warrant issued could prove to be something that outweighs the consolidation when if we get some clarity (hence the heavy consolidation).
It's also important to mention that in the previous RNS on 10th May, the board said that they have 'forgo' any cash incentives for this offer. This may be that the deal rto may have some incentive there and also, we won't know the new SP on go live date (so the poor consolidation, plus the warrant plus the new live share price - it could be a way to claw back some losses).
Trying to be optimistic on the back of a confusing rns, but we may well be surprised based on the warrants and the new go live sp. (After all, if it's based in the US, the market there is much stronger than here - I could be wrong if it goes on aim)
I don't even know what a warrant is or how it works
Can somebody explain what a warrant actually is? I'm a bit of a novice on the term about it...
Thanks. So I bought a fair bit at 1p.
Son I'm trying to figure out what the loss would be for me
Doesn't it depend on what price you bought in/how much shares you have?
So if somebody bought when these was 1p compared to somebody when they bought in when the sp was 60p etc?
(Don't shoot me down lol)
Well for starters, trying to calculate it and what to calculate
@wuckfit I'm in a fairly similar situation as you are and really don't understand the rns (also my first rto)
Don't think I've ever been so confused with an RNS lol. I bought some when the sp was around 1p or so, do not sure if I'll get my money back
Sorry forgive my ignorance (maths was never my skill).
So say you bought and had say for example 100,000 shares. How would you calculate that to what the RNS says? (Sorry again, trying to figure it out so I can decide whether to vote for or against)
How do you calculate it? How many shares you have and divide it by 220? (Sorry, trying to figure it out)
THERE'S AN RNS!!! HAVEN'T READ IT YET
(not shouting)
Depending on what the rns says, if there's a significant amount back (big if), personally, I'd sell most and keep a small percentage on it in case of a rocket. It's tough to tell, but with stocks, we know how sell offs can be.
So say the RTO happens and we get some money from it, are people planning to sell once listed or hold with the new company? Interesting to know what people will do
Ignore the word spring, that was a typo haha
This is encouraging news and shows the importance of being patient.
In regards to consolidation etc I bought some time before the suspension, but the SPRING halved again, so I'm hoping it isn't consolidated to the price before suspension (0.50p)
