So Pboo states: -
'I see DB wastes another £40,000 on share buy backs.'
For 'wastes' read 'invests'.
I am a shareholder and I approve the company's (UJO's) action.
I consider that UJO's SP is too low. Let time be the judge.

Why raise shareholders hopes with talk of takeovers? If a bid comes along then OK but I think that any bid now would undervalue UJO.
If UJO are worth more than 27.5p then holders will hold, new investors will invest and the current SP will rise. With good management I think that the SP will be much higher in six months time.

TAC - agree with your 07:30 post:
'Egdon are now part of a much bigger and financially stable entity who have the cash to develop their long standing projects, ..............'
I hope that George Yates is URGENTLY massing his troops?

Well spoken GP, good to see some sense being aired. I cannot see the SP drifting much lower; probably due to the fall in the price of oil?
We have a well run company and there are plenty of unbroken eggs in our basket.

Let us get rid of the it's a con in the title.
What DB is doing is putting some of OUR money into a bond which he believes will give US a good return. He is saying UJO is a BUY and I think that the best place for some of OUR money is to purchase Shares which I believe are undervalued. I agree with him and he knows more than we do about UJO.

''DB thinks the shares are cheap now so he's putting some away and saving them, hopefully further down the line UJO shares should be worth a lot more''.

This came about as a manoeuvre by S&S during the 'Pershing Nominees Crisis'.
If it were a dividend it would be 0.0436 pence per share!
Is it not better kept in the Company? That is for the Directors to use for the Company's benefit?

RBD v UJO.
I hope you are right; many of us have made the bet and already have 'put money on that!
I switched 50% of my RBD into UJO a year ago at about 100:1 price ratio and I am in profit on UJO and in loss on RBD. The big question that I now face is:- 'Should I switch the rest?'

DaveT1,
'The only published 'facts' about Wressle point to there being a whole lot more oil down there than any of the published facts'.
That sounds somewhat of a contradiction!
We would all like to believe that there is more oil!!
BUT, any speculation is currently speculation; I hope you are right?
I would not tempt fate and I am just sitting here quietly and keeping my fingers crossed.
