Perhaps the share buyback is propping the price up ? With zero dividends being paid it's not clear what the value of this buy back is to non MA shareholders.. plus ca change.

A rebound has been predicted on here before. Fundamentals are one thing - but no signs the toxicity of the brand can ever be fixed.

But they aren't buying back off him - so his % of shares in play (and voting) increases. Not by much mind you - a few %.

Why would they stop until they have bought the maximum allowable. Rather than a special or even normal dividend, MA has increased his shareholding % with profits that could have gone to shareholders or investment. Sniffs a bit.

MA doesn't seem to like outsiders - particularly not in the finance dept. He has no history of going external. Draw your own conclusions.

too early to say IMHO. Another opportunity for external talent to look under the bonnet is turned down - it's a pattern.
