I would expect the board to manage not cry about buffeting headwinds. There was prevarication and a huge breakdown in trust between shareholders and customers which they couldn't or wouldn't deal with. They were useless - we are well rid.

One other point in the boards favour is the customer revenues - substantially up on Tuesday and will rise again tomorrow, with further upside if the new boards choice McCall can coax a better performance out of the team. Another startling improvement.

How many voted for the current board ? None - they either abstained or supported King. Irrelevant now as the task of clearing up their substantial mess begins - and actions have been swift and many. A startling contrast with the previous torpor and gloom.

The previous board didn't grasp the management nettle - they let it fester on when KMcD wasn't up to the job - a far more pressing issue than the "noise" of what someone tweeted months ago which nobody complained about at the time and only those with pathological hatred of all things blue think is a serious issue - now been effectively kicked into the long grass. King said that those long term investors and the fans would see the share relisted - those in for the long term have no need to sell in the next 19 days hence lack of trading irrelevant to them. Spivs, shorters and haters are fuming - but who cares about them ?

Let's hope McCall cracks the whip and installs a high level of discipline. We should never be the sort of club whos captain is out boozing, kebabing and strip jointing just days before a big game - leave that to other outfits.

This board is providing a service for old Menschy - care in the community. Big society even. It is a safe place he can spend time in - away from blades and other dangers.

edgie - I can't predict the future. You will have your answer in 19 days or less. However the other important issues addressed in the press conference have already moved forward - why this one would be any different is a curious stance to take. I would also hope to see movement on Ally's contract within the next week or two. You can't argue that issues haven't been tackled at a fast pace - more positive action has been achieved in the last 6 days than the last 6 months.

listen to the press conference again - due diligence to be performed on all the directors and the company including the finances and will take up to 4 weeks. If you have evidence that this is now not taking place please produce it.

Who do you imagine would have a relevant complaint about this interim arrangement ? The shares were suspended under a previous regime, due diligence is being performed and King isn't on the board in the meantime - and is back in South Africa apparently. You expect some sort of investigation into transitory proceedings whilst the shares aren't trading ? I wouldn't wait up for that.

Given the massive support from shareholders he received at the EGM I am not sure who (out of those that matter) would have an issue with that in the relatively short period until such a decisions are made.

edgie - I can't make you listen but in the press conference from last Friday on the official site King stated that if the Nomad (or the SFA) deemed him not to be fit and proper he wouldn't be on the board - pretty clear to me.
