Here's the snippet . Bidders will have to quote a price linked to Platts JKM (Japan Korea marker), the liquefied natural gas (LNG) benchmark price The lowest bid that can be placed is JKM minus $0.3 per million British thermal unit. The highest acceptable bid would be JKM plus $2.01 per mmBtu
Joe mentions Platt pricing in interview .
So in term of Cambay field You can value based on today prices Taking a mid price of $8 that would put the 2p in the Y zone in the Cambay alone at 93,000,000×8= $744,000,000 And in the 2c in the X and Y zone at 930000000 ×8 $7,440,000,000
anticipated that the results of the pilot program will provide data needed to determine whether horizontal wells can provide an estimated 3 to 5 times increase on well productivity, thereby offering the highest commercial returns for the project
Although equities in general perform quite poorly in high and rising inflation environments, there are potential areas to seek refuge at the sector level.
The energy sector, which includes oil and gas companies, is one of them. Such firms beat inflation 71% of the time and delivered an annual real return of 9.0% per year on average.
This is a fairly intuitive result. The revenues of energy stocks are naturally tied to energy prices, a key component of inflation indices. So by definition they will perform well when inflation rises.
Gordon Staying positive I'm just watching Willy wonka on Itv for Easter Sunday. Just Imagine if Oilex Drill and get the well to produce in the future . You would be like Grandpa Joe where he Jumps out of the bed when Charlie gets the golden ticket .https://youtu.be/pLjbknqXjnE
Hi Steven We are far more realistic here having been through the mill over the years. Sometimes I get excited as it been so poor for som long with OILEX . No share goes up in a straight line and they still have to work out financing . But in general if we can get the channel going up then I'll be happy . If I wasn't confident I could have cashed in but I just top sliced . Take from that what you will ,believe it if u will Anyway Gla
Hi Gordon Thanks for feedback . Yes far more realistic to us 2p no's 2c is mid long-term view. Even more realistic is flow through low pressure pipe which I think Span worked out. I'm terms of profit you could use the same arguement for Tesla but sometimes the market predicts as best it can where a company will be in its share price. It's meant to be logical I stress meant to be As for Tuesday I'm sure u will be able to buy. All SP predictions are Days /weeks /few months . But I stick by my .5 /.7 /1p with volitality thrown in as It oilex of course . Gla
Of course short term the biggest Impact of $8 MMBtu would be on sales through the low pressure pipe "Any hydrocarbon production from these wells will utilise the existing Cambay processing and storage facilities and the connection to a local low pressure gas pipeline"
So in term of Cambay field And taking a mid price of $8 that would put that 2p at 93,000,000×8 $744,000,000 And the 2c at 417,000,000×8 $3,336,000,000 Gla
They are linking sales of Natural gas to JKM plates LNG price!
PlaTTs is about $7 I think that the min price they want .
Max is $9
If we assume $8 then what does that price Cambay value in at ?
Latest news Bidders will have to quote a price linked to Platts JKM (Japan Korea marker), the liquefied natural gas (LNG) benchmark price assessment for spot physical cargoes. The lowest bid that can be placed is JKM minus $0.3 per million British thermal unit. The highest acceptable bid would be JKM plus $2.01 per mmBtu.
Gordon I agree with the last few posters . I think you will have an ample opportunity to divest on Tuesday. Next several weeks this may and I emphasis may based on charts ,news flow ,Boris India visit hit 1p plus. Take your intial stake out let the rest ride is my 2 cents and that what I've done. Your call Good luck
Gordon I'm starting to think Joe has played a blinder getting Cambay for 2.2m This will hit .5 then .7 then 1p Make sure u topslice then it's up to you. Congratulations on a great investment . No bullcrap. It's going up Gordon
