Seems quite unlikely to me to be either of those things given Jonathan Thornton's 30 years in the HVAC industry, his extensive experience within the Polyester and Polypropylene media manufacturing sectors and having personally headed the R&D development within Volz since 2014.

Seems much more likely to me he has seen a gap in the market for our technology.

I doubt he'd say things like this otherwise:

I feel sure if you know their Net profit figures you will want to share them, but I'm much more interested in next years figures when they have our tech to sell.

The website calls them 'partner' the RNS they were called 'client'. Take your pick.

They make the masks to order as an outsource provider..Obviously they were so impressed with the tech they wanted more, so have since agreed a JV.

@Poops, I don't think you have completely grasped the situation here; Volz are converting their production line to sell products using our anti-viral tech as standard.
Our customer is Volz, the deal is already done. Volz can worry about who buys from them. It's not our problem. The only problem NNN have will be counting all the cash rolling in from the JV.

It tells you right there there are a vast amount that are not. You can disagree with what they wrote if you like, but where's your evidence they are wrong?

There's been discussion about the NHS air filter trials before. This is old ground. It's simply a useful proof-of-concept for the use of filters to clean the air on hospital wards(which is positive for us).

There are several limitations of UV which mean it would be bast in many cases to use an anti-viral filter either as an alternative or as an additional layer of protection.

Bottom line I think there will be lots of places our filters can be used and lots of customers who will want them.

What can you do? Bang a drum until they change to MERV 13 or give them anti-viral pre-filters for the MERV 8 they want to keep.

Also got to point out the level of the filter is only going to determine the particle size it can catch..if it's not anti-viral it won't kill it just catch it.

That will be why the CEO goes on to say:"I truly believe that this technology will greatly benefit the medical profession, those using Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning and the maintenance engineers who work with them."

You see we care about the engineers who have to change the filters.

Obviously getting the terms right must be a difficult and finely balanced task, otherwise we wouldn't be paying huge bonuses to the people responsible..we just be paying their salary and expecting them to put their back in to it..in fact we'd probably have them on zero hours contracts and whip them if they didn't work fast enough..what nice employers NNN are.

@Dr M Not saying that shareholders would like it..totally agree shareholders being treated very badly here..but the choice would be between Duffin and Cave. As unpopular as Cave is at least we know he has a large holding and is at least in theory aligned with us. Hopefully the silence means it doesn't come to that and they are both working to get the SP up.

Do you remember how P'd off Cave was with TB. We'd have an EGM proposal from him by now asking for our help to topple Duffin if there isn't something major in the pipeline that he knows about. IMHO

@ExMS That's all terribly encouraging. As you correctly point out they have been making our antiviral masks for us for awhile now. It follows that they have already some experience of converting their production line to use our nano-material, so I dare say they are just getting on with it. It's not like they called the Spanish in, Volz seem to know what they are doing.

Surely the FSA could apply a modicum of common sense to this. If the same products are allowed to be sold under another name then they can't reasonably claim there is any deficiency in the testing of the product that requires it's removal from sale. Surely the best thing would be to allow it to stay on sale under a transitional agreement pending the company jumping through all the hoops to supply whatever info is needed.
I wonder how a court would see this. I don't think it's 'fair' that there are 2 identical products and one is allowed to be sold and the other is not and as I understand it we still have their name on the product so the provenance can be seen.
