Britain now exports 50% more to the rest off the world than it does to the EU. The EU cannot afford to lose the UK market so it will want to cut a deal wrt tariffs given that they run a £70bn plus surplus with us it is very easy to see how the UK would wi out handsomely on a reciprocal tariff basis and it also easy to spot that a material slug of EU premium prized exports to the UK can be displaced by non EU suppliers clipping EU market share. Strikes me poor Leo will lose out and Emmanual won't do so well either.
