Not only Aim Crisplex,RR just for an example.I have been, and a still learning investor since about 1983 .This slump is about the longest and most severe that I've seen in that time. But like all thing it does eventualy turn. When I first bought Modern water at 38p,ouch,this week ,to try and get my average down, bought 50000 on Monday and another 70000 today, lets just hope that the board are an honest bunch, many aren't.
Over the years I've bought shares in a sound company, that for one reason or another has taken a bashing,i've not done too bad.Bought here at an average of 38p ,so doing and buying in that way can be very dangerous to your wallet.Been here about two years, keep thinking tomorrow is good news week!!
Anopther 11p rise then I'll be in a profit,IQE has had a nice run the last few weeks. It's been an awful couple of yearsd,I hold shares in 21 companies ,there's only 3 showing a profit,so it's been a bear market, but thing are on a change I believe.
I bought 50k at 38p per share when it was modern water,£19,000 it now stands at £950.I'm in a bit of a muddle as to buy around 100,000 to at least bring my average down, but will the new team manage to give it mouth to mouth recusitation .It's dodgy but in the long run could be a gamble worth taking????
Around the year 2000 BATM was trading at between £45-to £60 .Imagine saying to the short tempered wife ,"there's an Israeli company, they've got the best tech in the world, cant go wrong, so what about sticking all our savings in there"?And a couple of years later it was around the 3,,4p range. And they both lived happy ever after!!!
Just pretend that you'd bought shares in a company at 12p and 3.5 years later it was valued at £1.70,vunderbar.But of course VRS is the opposite I'm afraid,I'm down £12.8,k am I ****led off ,of course and it's a steady daily drop.Where is the bottom and when will it turn direction or really the question is, will it?
I can't see VRS issuing a rights issue call, not at these prices, I don't think, but how much have they got in the piggy bank?
The last time it was at this price was 2015,I'm annoyed with myself for coming back here after getting out at 55p,re invested at 38p,fu.. a duck.
About 5 years ago I bought 60k of these at 17p,watched it go all the way to 170p,bailed out at 55p.Kept my eye on it and of course read intensly to Mr Rickets forecast and the future of VRS.Maybe we will be wearing diamonds in the distant future, but when your getting decrepit by the day time isn't on my side. When your an old knacker. dabbling on the stock market is your only means of excitment,VRS at the moment is anything but!
Decided to ditch my holdings in LDG,I've held for a couple of years,I still thing things will get to be a very interesting here but when.Bought Shield thera, averaged down from my first purchase of 19p,you never know if you've done the right thing, time will tell.
My share value with this company is down exactly 50%,£11,500,so it's got to double just to get back to where I was 2 years ago.Now we all know that this is a world beater with the tech they have,or so we've been lead to believe,so why hasn't the rest of the world embraced us with open arms? This is when a stop loss is so important.Imagine being married to a short tempered woman and telling her half your savings are lost, grrrr.
i'm so mad with myself,I bought 60k of these at 19.5after selling Farn pharma shares as I thought the prospect was greater
here that with Faron. What a plonker, yet I read all the past news about the company and thought that my cash would improve more here. Why didn't I wait a couple of months, famous last words,i bet anyone who has invested has said those same words????
I hate to be thought of as a fibber,my name isn't Johnson.Looked them up and they were dealing on the market in 1999,so there, the reason I remember these faraway days is I bought into another company roughly the same time,,Physomics.
It must be 20 years ago that I held PXS,I had around 200k which cost 1 3/4p per share at the time. After about 2 years I got rid,is there anyone here who's held them since those far off day's?All the main tipsters say you have to have patients to be a profitable investor, but of course it's not always true.
Bought 60k here at an average of 68p so I've got to double my money[Hughie Green] just to get to where I was last year. The market has been real crap but with TGR there hasn't been any bad news, apart from the weather, but for a reason that we don't know the market doesn't like us at the moment.I have a share which has done nowt in the last two years,so I just might sell and buy more here. But the old saying goes, never buy a falling share and never sell a riser,so what to do????
