Really tempted to jump in,but I think I'll wait for another couple of day's,could go below 1p.But it doesn't matter what price you buy it's still a big risk.I'm certainly not risk averse, over the years I've bought into companies which have dropped 80/90% of their value. It's dangerous but can make good profit but not always, not quite as foolhardy the older I get.
Well you really have been the backbone of Faron, and if a future C/Os require a very intelligent spokesman then they should get in touch. We have chatted before about me losing faith here,as I've said before pharma shares could be a very long wait for any earth shattering news.I held over 59k shares it's now down to 18k,going to get rid of the 8k and possibly try a complete gamble with Poly or TPI.i'll leave the 10k here just because of your enthusiasm Sax. Good luck to you all and of course me.
Bought cost at 2.38 per share,£6851.
Value now at 0.25= £814,,that's the way to do it say's Punch.
i'm a doddering old bugger,so what are the chances of seeing any return before I'm fertilizer??No use blaming other people for our slump,we should all have a stop loss to halt any serious drop like this dog.
Bought over 110,000 on Tuesday, the reason I bought is, about 20 years ago I bought a good number of GBG,they were called Telme.com then, they do similar work to OSI.I bought GBG at around the 4p mark and a few months ago they were over £8,Sold all of them about 6 years ago and bought a bungalow in the country. So lets hope sentiment go the same way, mind you I'll be pushing up the daisies if it takes that long!!
Well I'm down £7,450 here in about 12 months, when will we get the good news that will reverse this downward trend?i know a.i.m has taken a hammering the last few months and most of my 20 odd company's in my portfolio are on a.i.m,in situations like this it is a good principal to have a stop loss arrangement.should have sold out here months ago, but, but ego and pride stops you selling at a loss.the experts say when your down5% sell half and when down 10% get rid of the lot....amen.
i BET THERE'S NOT TOO MANY INVESTORS OUT THERE WHO HASN'T HAD A GOOD KICKING TODAY,IN FACT THERE'S BEEN A STEADY DECLINE FOR 2/3 MONTHS NOW. Most of the 21 company's I hold are AIM and there isn't one which have risen in the last few months. There's a total mixed bag of stock but they're all suffering,It'll work itself out in the wash.I might buy a few more in a while, see if I can catch the bottom here!!
Thank you Shareinvestment, now I understand. It must be 18 months or so ago that one of the broad sheet papers was saying that the stock market is due a correction, and to get out till the signs of a recovery.Well I hold shares in about 20 companies ,they're a mixed bag in what they do,I'm in profit with some, but that was made before this slump.,so in the last few months nearlY all have taken a kicking,,DRAT,OR WORDS TO THAT EFFECT.
Every few years you'll get a long series of drops on the market, bear period, don't sell at a loss, just hang on,it will go the other way, could be next week, next month, but it will right itself.I hold 21 company's in my portfolio,a complete mixture, and for the last 6 months or so they've all taken a bashing, not nice but it happens.
Well what a smashing company, yet were down 30%,it's got to do a rise 50% to be where we were in September. There hasn't been any decent news for quite a while,,,,,all our dreams blown into ashes,,,
trying to think what song was that from? If it drops another £1 we'll kicking ourselves for clinging on in hope.
I came back into VRS at 38p, thought that would be the bottom,,,WRONG,,anyway my purse is lighter by £7k.That's why you should put a stop loss plan into place,we all know,or do we believe or hope that this will come good, too old to hang around another few years, but I hate selling at a loss!
