The royalty and streaming model is certainly more popular over in the US and Canada. Many now see the R&S companies as a better way to gain exposure to the very best assets and companies, but without the operator risk. It's quite a new model as far as the general UK investor is concerned, with only Anglo Pacific offering some base metal exposure. I think it'll grow in popularity here and similarly in Australia too, where there's a big mining presence on the ASX yet no pure royalty companies. Exciting times ahead for TRR I think..

Great post MS, and it makes perfect sense so no need to apologise at all.
The revolving credit facility is yet to be finalised, but Adam was very confident they'll have that in the bag soon, so I suspect that additional firepower might be a near term RNS.
Still, deployable cash+ credit well in excess of market cap is a great position to be in.

..on top of that, there's a lot to like about the royalty companies. Although you might lose a little of the torque that you might get with a well performing individual company, there's a lot of comfort in circumventing the operator risk and day to day disruptions, whilst just sitting back and creaming an income off the top line.

Yes the outlook for miners is looking pretty bright - though could be rather turbulent on a short term view. It's a great time for TRR to be accumulating revenue generating royalties (and also good quality prospective royalties) ready for when the sector starts to see the benefit of increased infrastructure spend, and the onset of a commodities bull market. Great opportunity on a medium/long term view.

Excellent webinar from Adam this evening. Sounds like some deals are very close to getting over the line. He mentioned a potential copper asset and also a lead-zinc asset as well as a couple of others. Also looking at picking up some earlier stage royalties and streams to fill out the development pipeline.

I assume you mean the likes of Freetrade and alike, where there's no dealing fees. Unfortunately TRR isn't available via FreeTrade yet. I hold mine with Jarvis, and pay £5.95 per trade.

I'm a Sandstorm shareholder too, alongside Ely Royalties, EMX, Altius and Anglo Pacific. Royalty companies make up the mainstay of my portfolio. I'm a fan of the model, and as you say, the North American royalty companies have shown what can be achieved in terms of shareholder returns.
Agree that it's a great first step here, and a buyer's market for sure as far as base metal royalties are concerned. The market hasn't got a handle on the first deal here yet, but it won't take long for people to wake up to TRR's potential.

Yes it's an inspired first deal. Hopefully we'll see further deals shortly. Strike whilst the iron is hot - or in this case, whilst the base metal market is starved of cash.

Quoted 21.26 to buy - just to put into context any misinterpretation of recent trades.

..a solid pipeline is something that APF certainly lacks. Altius has a project generator portfolio, which is now starting to deliver organically grown revenue for them. It's a great opportunity for TRR in the UK and hopefully in the not too distant future - on the ASX too.
