AML load dealers at the end of the year to hit their targets, 40 % of all sales are in Q4!
They won't be doing that any time soon with a tariff quota now in place for the US.
First 100k cars exported to the US get a 10% tariff, anything above 100k get a 25% tariff.
Therefore, manufacturers will now load up dealers EARLY in the year, before 100k cars are exported, in order to avoid the 25% tariff, it would be suicide for AML to load dealers in Q4 henceforth.
A real fly in the ointment, no dealer loading this year.
Q2 had no sales to the US, so 2025 is going to be another dismal year.
Zero chance of cash flow positive in 2025 now, ZERO.
2026 should start well though, everyone will be hitting the US market hard in H1, and sales will drop off towards the end of the year.
AML just never catch a break do they? The macro economic conditions from Covid to Trump Tariffs, inflation to recession.
Funny how Ferrari manage all that perfectly though ;)
