If AML lose that they are probably bankrupt.... royalties would need paid on every Valkyrie, Valhalla and Vanquish. Game over.

And do you know the cash balance is mostly Valkyrie/Valhalla deposits?
If Valkyrie really does not work, people will start pulling their deposits, and there will be no cash left.

Anyone looking at bailing AML out will look at a market cap of under 1bn, with debts of 1.3bn and intangibles of £1.4bn that need attention. That's an awful balance sheet and why the broker has stop covering AML.

Stroll himself says 10,000 cars, 2bn turnover and 500m ebitda. His figures.
500 ebitda minus 171m (current interest, that will be more in 2/3 years time) minus D&A for 330m equals ZERO PROFIT.
I haven;t even mentioned 1.4bn in intangibles that need written off soon. do you know about them?

EBITDA positive, but after all expenses, no actual profit.

Shareholders should almost be thankful that they don't have to renegotiate the bonds this year as the rate would almost certainly be going UP, if they sold any bonds at all. This is the risk. The broker Panmure has stopped covering AML because the balance sheet is so poor.

It doesn't really matter how many wealthy people buy an Aston, even doubling sales to 12,000 probably won't make it profitable because of the interest on debt.

And Carpy, if you put yourself in Stroll's position as a potential bondholder:
Would you give up 13% returns in bonds after the share price has melted and you are at a loss? Of course you wouldn't. You'd stay 'undisclosed' and take every penny in compensation.

So much raw material for cars (Neon for chips, palladium to remove toxins from exhausts, platinum, copper and nickel for batteries etc) are from Russia/Ukraine/China controlled areas.

What happens when no-one wants to lend to AML as the risks are higher than they were when they took the bonds out at 13%. Bonds were the only place they could go for funds.
Stroll is now in the red with his holding, as are all the directors.

Russia and Ukraine hold a huge amount of all the minerals/commodities the west needs.
The west are trying in vain to destroy them economically, but they hold all the essentials we need. Let's see how that works out.

Inflation will be 10% before we know it, if not already and it will only get worse short/medium term. Rates will have to rise. borrowing becomes more expensive for everyone. Mortgages, bank loans, energy, corporate borrowing... everything.

Putin will not be persuaded to do anything he doesn't want to do, he wants his legacy to be the resurrection of the soviet empire.

Retail traders will be mostly wiped out because they don't know a bear market when they see it. All the riskiest companies are being sold down in the flight to safety.

If oil continues rising all bets are off.

I have no idea where AML will end up, but who would want to buy the riskiest 'assets' in this environment?
No chance the bondholders will take a haircut, 13% interest looks look cheap when inflation rises well above 10%.
