RE: Invesco purchase another 800,000 shares30 Apr 2022 13:42
...and while you are at it Carpy, please let us know how AML are going to fund the the Mercedes deal?
This was supposed to take place at £12.46, which is 50% upwards from today's price. AML owe Merc about £140m, due early 2023, anything below £12.46 must be paid in cash to make up the shortfall.
The stockmarket is now officially in a bear market, highly indebted companies are going to get hosed, as are the holders.
Even the good companies like Apple are overvalued and dropping. Those PE's don't hold in recessions, 20-30% drop for the Nasdaq still to come.
AML have £400m in cash left.
Minus £125m for this year's loss.
Minus £150m for Nebula court case
Minus £60m cash for Merc, more if the SP keeps sliding.
£65m left this time next year imho.
And even if Stroll hit's his £500m EBITDA target by 2024/25 in the middle after stagflation, recession, war, higher interest rates, AML make no profit to replenish this cash.
