I don't totally understand your investing logic. You invested 5k on Friday in a company you believe is being run by an incompetent CEO, are you not exacerbating something that obviously aggrevates you , surely there are other bargains out there with more competent leadership.

The fact they see value in the Price comparison model , but GoCos value is lost due to being bundled with media group is surely a

great opportunity.

In this £350m market cap company, there is a gem worth£400m+, keep this price, the buybacks reduce shares to 88m, that should value Goco at £4.50 alone.

It's interesting, the 9% and 17% are off their previous models, they expect

720.4m rev -2.5% and

213.8m adj EBITDA. If you actually take Ebitda 2025 223m/100m shares 30/9/25, its £2.23 a share. forcast 2026, 213.8m/90m shares by sept30 =£2.37 per share, so it's valuing the company at 2x Ebitda. If and when this company proves it can still grow in the new environment, this share will explode.

Not sure that will be long! On the bright side the 23m left for buybacks, will in the long run be great value.

This share is holding ground well over last week or so. I'm not sure they should be of any concern.

Interseting article. I think Future has some deal with ChatGpt to use their AI programming for developing in house AI tools ie Collab in return for data.

There is a huge data lake however that they should be able to monetize.

Future from what I see and read is quite a way down the transition process toadapt and embrace AI search headwinds.

Content creators are fast becoming the most powerful advertising tool, they show that people actually want to listen to other people, not just Bots.

Future has harnessed this in several of its Hero brand mags already and is expanding that across the board. If It maintains Revenue and margins over the next couple of years, we will all look back quizzically at these prices.

Bloomsbury is up+16%, on guidence of earnings beat feb 27, due to 2 novels being released. It may be in similar sector, but has little relevance to tech/e-commerced based publisher.

And when you look at what those companies around the500-600m earn you scratch your head even more!

It will be interesting to see what happens to shorts, as the lenders tend to be the passive funds who's only remit is to run the most accurate portrail of the index in the cheapest way, hence loaning shares out to make extra income. They will need to recall shares back before selling them.

Shorts certainly seem to have increased quite aggressively around this time, and with no news likely for a few weeks, [good or bad], valuation at 1.7x Ebitda it points to loading up for a short term spike down. Climbing in for eventual capitulation seems premature, costly and risky.

It seems like we are neck and neck in market cap terms with NCC Group for this evenings cut off. What is interesting is that they are in the process of selling 60% of the business, and assuming a reasonable chunk of the cash is returned to share holders, NCC will be a 20m EBITDA group with a 150m+ cash in the bank. Assuming 7x ebitda the company would be struggling to get to 300m market cap after sale. Maybe that's why they've been mentioned in the press as the company most likely to drop out.

£1.32 actually allows for a fall in profit to 125m from 130m when divided by 95m shares [which should be the years mid point. ] .Multiples become misleading when buybacks have been so aggressive over the last 18months.

By year end we should be down to 90-91 million so even 125m thats £1.38. Statutory, which does seem to appear on most sites P/E ratio calc should once impaiment is taken off be £78m, 82p EPS thats a +30% increase on last years 62p without growth.

I seems they are putting their foot on the throat before next Tuesdays close. On LSE website Future sit in bottom 2 of Ftse 250 on market cap 8m adrift of

PCGH, and 20m shy of NCC. Needs a rise of 30p + to be safe from here.

Call me foolish but this haspotential into the teens, may take a year or two but get to around 80-75 million shares in 24 months 1bill valuation does that. Please don't send a tirade of foolish back, let me bask in my optimism.

The only other point is regarding BOD purchases. The CEO is on £600k, 48% salary, 52% bonus and incentives. I'm not sure he for one is remunerated enough to spearhead any dial moving insider purchases., Especially as they have stated no bonuses this year.

To a large degree the company is defending itself. It has committed to another round of buy backs, bought in Sheerluxe a bolt on that shows they are actively addressing AI view concerns. Stated clearly they are aiming to reduce net debt down to 1.1x earnings.

I would be slightly concerned if they issued a statement to alleviate fears about how the share price doesn't reflect their earnings. Markets are irrational at times and shorters sense a lack of buying interst, together with the probable demotion from the ftse250.

My personal view is that if that occurs the few trading days after could well find the floor in share price as millions of shares are dumped on the market.

I'm confident the company will adapt and evolve with the new technology, and hope they maximise the 10% per annum buyback until price no longer looks such good value. My biggest frusrtration like many is I missed a total gift horse,getting in in the mid £6s which i felt was exceptionally good value at the time.

I'm struggling to understand what updates they should be giving. 5/2/26 updated, 3 weeks ago . Trading broadly as expected and in line with analysts forecasts, H2 weighted. Half year results 14May 26.

Retail holders account for approx 5% of their shares, the company hierarchy can't down tools every 2/3 days to give us updates, not sure institutions are as concerned as long as the strategy shows its being implemented, and is working.

I certainly agree £5 could take a while, But this is already very heavily institutionally owned 90%ish. 1.6% by Future themselves. Future is doing their heavy lifting for them by reducing share count.

I mentioned before that Fidelity has upped it's stake to 12.5m shares, 13+%. Due to RNS timing it would suggest the block bought Morgan Stanleys shares last week. Thats a big commitment from a company that will be having regular discussions with the board ATM.

Can someone explain the real issue about the short position?

This company is being priced to fail by them, If they are right,[ the problem] we backed the wrong horse, our fault. If as we expect, Future adapts, AI concerns are overblown, margins remain reasonably intact, Future should move up in price fairly considerably.

Shorting due to inexperienced BOD, which i've yet to see really put a foot wrong , is another punt on their part.

What it is doing is allowing the company to carry out a 6% buyback tranche which should really be 3%. While paying down debt and acquiring more diverse revenue streams.

Surely unless you need to sell, or your decision making is being undermind by their presence, these positions aren't affecting the day to day running of the business, which is ultimately what will determine this stock price.
