Listened to the presentation over the weekend. Listened to them all over the years. I'm glad I had the foresight to listen to my convictions to be pessimistic. What I'm more drawn to on Goliath is the appearance of lack of specs. I watch from outside but less tempted to invest until something major is announced. I won't hold my breath.

At the time of launching the Placing, the estimated net cost to Rockhopper of the Early Project Failure ("EPF") support required by FIG was US$40 million, which Rockhopper believed could be provided at a cost of US$25 million in the form of a surety bond. Can't see any dividend until at least 2030. Share price 2028 dependent on oil price.

I'm expecting a wave of selling from those 53p placing investors on the next FID RNS. Lets see !!!

Paul, it going to take 2-3 years for any new fields to come on line. That means you won't see any meaningful drop off for years. (except shale perhaps)

An oil price of $55-65 over the next couple of years would be ideal for Rockhopper as there will be less exploration and fewer development projects sanctioned,

That's not strictly true is it Paul ? Since it takes many, many years from exploration to development only imminent projects "might" be put on hold. Hardly going to dent the world supply side is it ?
