All South American wars have American involvement or instigation. No war in Australia, or North America. No war in EU or the UK. American won't get involved with Asian wars as that is China's play ground. So that leads me to deduce that these so called "Others" is China.
Now if you think that anything the West does to Russia will deter China from invading Taiwan should be decide to is deluded. Th West cannot sanction China without destroying themselves. Remember when Trump put tariffs on china and China retaliated- the world economy suffered. Even trump had to remove some of those tariffs.
China's economy is way bigger than Russia's and is more of a systemic risk to the West. look at the size of trade between the two.
