The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Wow! The only one of my shares that goes ex-div today and hasn't dropped dramatically.
I hope these rises will filter down to us via an increased dividend. Next div cut from 3 to 1, was a shock.
Ex-dividend date on the 11th will be some reason for the rise.
Yes.
Why are the daily percentage changes so far off the mark on this sp?
70% + 30% = 100%
I hope investors have better maths skills than this!
I'll add it to my Cineworld too..... and my Joules......... and my Petropavlovsk....... and my Rambler. I can truly pick the gold!
I'm sure someone said that last week, too. (One time it may actually turn out to be correct).
All the letters in TSSZ appear in 'St Tropez'
Thank you both for your reply, I wonder if you have misunderstood the motivation behind the original post, though I agree it does seem ambiguous, largely due to my rather formal written style. If it came across as a bit aloof, it was not intended as such, hence your ill meant responses are equally out of place.
"If you read the board...", believe it or not, I had thought of this, but having not found this topic specifically mentioned, thought it valid to raise, but thank you Just-Another-bot for taking the time to state the bleeding obvious.
If the intent behind my post was muddled, let me attempt to clarify; I was proffering the question, (rather than making a statement), as to whether anyone could enlighten me how the mind-set of the region plays a part in solutions and to what extent?
Any constructive/relevant answers more than welcome - isn't that the point of the BB?
I wonder if anyone on this board has experience of the middle-eastern mind-set, that needs to be factored in to a resolution? Having worked on problem solutions in North-East Asia myself, it was important to understanding that sorting technical issues was a case of.... 10% practicalities and 90% everyone saving face. I didn't jump on the bandwagon of buying shares last Friday's spike, because I wondered if the pipeline being 'ready' was only the 10% and without the other 90%, nothing is going to change.
Which advice is that? "Be fearful when others are being greedy?"
There is a difference between purposeful mis-representation and being able to read between the lines. The pipelines had an inspection and was okayed a few weeks ago, if I remember rightly, so this is not any more authoratative. Perhaps, it might signal a greater willingness on the side of politians to get things moving, but things aren't yet moving - oil wise. I hope it does sort out the oil flow, but it would be error to take today's news as a 'certainty'
Agreed Liam. Actually, nothing has changed.
Hopefully up from here, however divided is slightly decreased, Final was 8p last year, 5p this year.
I wish I had that faith! I went to see it today at my local Cineworld, though the film was alright, I was more worried that I was one of only 3 people in the cinema. Admittedly it was a 10:30am screening, but it is school holidays.
Well, I'll be honest and say that I didn't see it coming. Though I knew the pressures on retail, this brand and the descent in SP from the highs, not a week ago the RNS released seemed generally optimistic.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Don't bring up that name!
It's a rainy day in Yorkshire too, so I have to make it interesting.
Oh look.... there's a unicorn!
