RE: No more low ball offers20 Jan 2023 13:19
Fark sake, the irony here is off the charts... Do you clowns ever actually read something before you mouth off about it?
"A tender offer is a direct approach to shareholders to sell their shares to the would-be acquirer at a premium over the current market price."
No bids materialised and any previous discussions where undisclosed, so if there was an actual bid "above the market price" then the bod would have been obliged to put it to stakeholders. As this didn't materialised anyone with half a brain could safely deduce that no serious bids where submitted prior to two different entities walking away.
Eric has chosen not to disclose what these so called bids were or why the suitors have not pursued their interests any further. There is also no evidence of these entities building a stake in the market pursuant to their notification obligations.
One might even deduce from this that all is not what Eric may suggest it is.
