no RNS today if we did sell our stake in Block. Is it just coincidence a sell of 8.5m (ish) shares were sold which was roughly our holding. One other thing the trade price was 2.40 when the bid was 2.60? No RNS on Block either. Any ideas anyone?

Yes it looks like we have. We had 3.29% of block which would equal that sell on Block at 16.27 (8.5m) There were rumours on block bb that it had happened last month. Maybe see better value (at the moment) in PQE. Or is it going to be used for settlement for FH??

Strider 5 or 6 months ago NM alluded to intrest being shown from 12 interested parties. Anyone of them could go hostile at any time, on their own or as a jv. BHP are committed to no hostile bids as long as there are no such bids from anyone else.which was a very smart move by NM. I expect that after the updated MRE next month that we may find two or the other majors coming to the table.

Filthy/AK thanks for the answer. If the likes of Rio came out on top with the highest bid, what do you think BHP would do with their 11%?

Can someone explain to me why other majors would start a bidding frenzy for Solg when BHP already own 11% of Solg. Would that indicate that it would need to be a jv?
