We also can see the speed at iSCIB1+ recruitment - 4 months and it’s already recruited half the patients required. Imagine speed a phase 3 trial would take, especially given clinical material isn’t being bespokely manufactured for individual patients, but instead is an off the shelf product.

I've just been sent details about the vaccines and immunotherapies online symposium being held on the 26th September. Samantha Paston (Head of Translational Research) is a confirmed speaker with a 20 minute speaking slot entitled 'Updates On The ImmunoBody® DNA Vaccine'.

The brochure says key topic areas covered:

Showing my naivety here, if we were to list on Nasdaq, would we get the same shares we have now? Or would investors who have supported the company over the years lose out?

There are a number of reasons, companies may consider changing their NOMAD in anticipation of or following significant corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or capital raises, where specialised expertise or a better strategic fit is required between the company and the NOMAD.

For example if you look at Panmure Gordon's website it says: 'We are a UK based investment bank providing a full range of services including Capital Raising, Corporate Advisory, Corporate Broking, Investor Relations, Research, Sales and Execution with distribution to the UK, Europe and the US.'

It may be nothing, but there may also be a reason behind it. All will be revealed at some point in the future.

7 months seems a weird amount of time, why not 6? Then it got me thinking, 7 months from now takes us through to the end of the calendar year. It may hint to it not being a British biotech - most other countries have a financial year end of December 31st, so possibly this would mean they could evaluate and then make a decision from budgets from next FY.

Merck have purchased EyeBio for $3bn (https://eyebiotech.com/merck-to-acquire-eyebio/) with $1.3bn up front and $1.7 in milestone payments for their Restoret product which is about to enter into a pivotal Phase 2B/3 trial later this year.

Whilst a completely different therapeutic area, I thought it interesting to give context for what pharma are prepared to pay for companies. I suspect if our ducks align SCLP could achieve significantly more given we have a four platforms (Immunobody, Moditope, Avidimab and the glymab platform).

On the note of antibody deals. I agree they need to focus. I do wonder whether this would be the new BD lead and Sath pushing for clinical data to drive bigger deal numbers, both would then have the opportunity to demonstrate their success in closing big deals. I guess a bigger deal would stop dilution and increase the cash runway. So i guess it would come down to how long a Ph1 clinical trial would take to get off the ground, started, patients recruited and a read out.

However, this again was out of our hands in so far as it was upto the MHRA to give approval for this to open. Then you also have to wait for individual sites to roll out the amendment which allows this arm to start recruiting.

I’m not too worried about the delays to recruitment, having worked in the clinical trials space, you realise these things are out of the hands of the companies whose product you are testing.

Scinv - no we're not the same person. Berm is somebody I hold in v.high regard on this board. I wouldn't call them a pumpity pump person - just a very measured and balanced person who knows a lot about SCLP.

Konar, I think I would agree with you. The intensity of poster presentations and conference attendance, I feel is building up to a full results reveal. I would hope that the PR machine has also been refuelled ready to create a proper splash.

I think we may hear more about Modi-1 and glymabs as fillers before the finale.
