market indices are letting us down along with other shares in the same boat , its a strange situation because the indices are at the top end but smaller companys dont seem to be responding to it and are still way of what they should be ,its as if the market indices dont know how to respond ,the energy has gone out of company trading its been like this for weeks and weeks with no breakout and not much news,quite boring really

emergency services are certainly not what they used to be EMERGENCY ! 999 SERVICES. you must be joking ,there was a time when if someone dialed 999 the responce was almost immediate but ... not anymore ,unless your almost dead.
i had a few weeks ago a instance of this ,if you need emergency 999 be worried ! my mother came out of a few days in hospital after a fall and she had been released to early coz they needed the bed and was re-admitted same day ,healthcare workers arrange the return and we waited over five hours for a ambulance to arrive,admittedly it wasnt a emergency but they are all overwhelmed, this priority for covid treatment instead of other patients has gone over the top

What with greeny boris and his princess nut nut wife/adviser its very unlikely that oil investment in this stupid country is likely to be encouraged now is it? same with gas/oil fracking ...thats why we are all being fleeced to make up for it and pay to import it instead .not so in the usa though but as usual our government dont seem to have their intelligence do they?

think you right ddubya but often its the potential that drives the sp..am keeping in because of that, markets are in the doldrums it seems going nowwhere for now and this is the likely reason that these have stayed in a tight trading range.
I am staying in because if your out when it goes north you be left behind and this at some point will certainly go north.

twelve years ago we were paying these sort of prices for petrol...only thing is oil was $149 per barrel then and now, we pay same for petrol and its approx $75 per barrel...whats gone wrong ?
greedy filling stations increasing their margins and not reducing when oil drops and the government trying to put people off petrol and diesel in order to go electric....ripped off again by rip off britain... as i said in a earlier post our carbon emmissions in the UK less than 1% its a con ..all greenies and the government need their heads testing ..we are the loosers for all this sh,,e

shale gas we have but was refuted by loony eco warriers and brow beaten boris johnson , had we exploited shale gas and oil that comes with it like the states we would not be paying through the nose for it by importing it now.
What kind of logic does this represent ? the UK would prefer to pay for imports when it has its own resources ..you just couldnt make it up could you.. what a thick government just so they could attempt achieve zero carbon of which we only produce less than 1% anyway....biggest con in history

That's why i mentioned it to you in the first place and to see what you thought of it.

Certainly has paid off for you and me Thordon, Am sure you will be ok with it,just has long periods asleep depending on time of year and away from results and news but 0.5 % divi is good news, dont forget what i said about the other i mentioned

If i and had not been to committed to the other company , i would have bought some back at 32/34 but i couldnt .i would have had to have reduced my holding in other company fully commited to that,it did cross my mind as i say because its healthier to split between companys as they say is not bright a idea...very dodgy . but however i didnt. tly, its unlikely to fall back much if any
