A British company is potentially selling assets in a foreign country, which are a region, rather than just a building! There is government links (via Rosgeo) Japan is PROBABLY involved.
How long does it take?

It was higher a year ago because loads of people had jumped on board thinking it was going to be wrapped up last year.
The SP has drifted lower this year as more and more people have jumped ship.
The suspension was forced upon them because of the Hammond tweet, a sale was being planned / thought of (witness Dmitry's 2019 interview) but IMO they would have preferred to have kept it under wraps a while longer.
Remember that the Rosgeo JV has only recently been announced but hints were dropped about this in the 2019 interview with Christian Schaffalitzky.
Investing in the stock market can be a very frustrating waiting game, but if you are confident in your research just sit back and relax. Huffing & puffing about it isn't going to change anything!
I want this as much as everyone here as it COULD be life changing, but all we can do it ride it out and wait.

Fair enough PSK, and if your trading you can make good money if you have the time to follow the market.
Always scares me when I hear about large single share investments, as if it was to drop big style, people could find themselves in trouble if they needed to release the funds.
Each to there own and every ones acceptance of risk is different.

Never a good decision to go that heavy on only one stock, or sector, unless you've only invested a small sum.

People should come on here and ask questions, and if they've got something negative to say then fine, as long as they can back it up.
The problem is,
A. The REAL clowns.
B. Someone who has taken it upon themselves to argue with everyone.

I agree re the dividends, especially the announced one which was cancelled.
Lloyds has underperformed but day traders DEFINITELY haven't helped their cause!

It's also noticeable that you haven't included say HSBC in your comparison?
Lloyds hasn't done well but scare stories regarding Brexit and people trading on others nervousness hasn't done this any favours at all.
