RE: Lti, are you reading what I wright?15 Aug 2021 22:53
Lti,
I have said that if shares buybacks are carried out they need doing continually, say 5 to 10 years, set aside say £1.5B see my posts.
People on here have said no because they don't work
I have said they haven't worked because an amount is bought back then it is stopped and for the next few years this is negated by new shares being issued.
My point re staff bonuses/shares is that if there is NO buybacks we end up with dilution because of the new shares
I am NOT against staff bonus shares, but if the people who want no buybacks also don't want dilution they need to vote against the ability of the company to issue new shares.
My history is there for you to read, go back a couple of days and read again.
I am NOT against buybacks
I am NOT against staff bonus/shares
If buybacks are done I want them done properly so WE DO NOT get dilution.
