Instead of streamlining its operations to allow for the BOD to grasp what’s needed they have diversified and now cannot manage any area properly. A classic error, what happened to build a solid foundation and go from there. The organisation is ridiculously top heavy with far too many £100000+ “managers” on the books. I live in hope of a white knight but frankly, I doubt it will happen. Let’s hope they don’t call for more cash to waste. sadly I feel another share dilution is round the corner. GLA, we’ll need it

Totally depressing. I thought going back in with an average of 1.40 was a great bet, little did I realise the capacity for this management to drive the price back to 1.00. I will not top up in case of complete collapse back to 70p. This is a nightmare.

Not sure that will happen, the worst might be behind us. All the bad news has been absorbed. I will average down if it hits 110. Fingers crossed.

Nonsense, iag up 1.5%, prudential up1.3%, carnival up 1.5%. Overall FTSE up 0.2%. In truth, it’s looks more like you are ramping than the other way round.

Today’s fall is very worrying as those in the know get out before they can be accused of insider dealing. I am debating taking a loss on half my holding and crossing fingers for the rest.

Speaking for myself, I am very frustrated to have bought back starting at 1.56. I should have stayed out a lot longer and waited for 4th April results. So yes, you are right a bad decision borne of over exuberance.

Karl, you keep on quoting over 50’s for equity release where in fact we are generally looking at over 70’s. Not such a vast market and to imagine that it will cover other losses from insurance is wishful thinking at best

But sadly very poor self-serving management. I wouldn’t rule out a cash raise and some fiddle to give the top men another bonus.

Couldn’t agree more Bill, I reckon this will fall to about £1 after the results, I plan to sell just before and buy back. My current average is 1.45 and that’s not going to happen any time soon. Kicking myself for buying back in, but no point going down with the ship

Buying my last 25% at 125, fingers firmly crossed. Can’t believe I let others talk me into earlier buys, a lesson learnt.

Looks like 125 will be breached. Very disappointing in so many ways. Clearly we are in for a nasty surprise, no doubt cloaked in “positive “ babble from the board, as they pocket more of our money. Let’s hope it bottoms out before we revisit sub £1

Do you realise Saga has lost 10%! This is a disaster on a mammoth scale. Looks like my 125 will arrive sooner than I expected/feared. Bought back too early, big error and now I’m paying for it.

And I wish i hadn’t bought back in.

Yes I don’t expect it to happen, but in case it does i have 25% of my stake left
