There's no obligation to work out one's notice. Most do because we don't get paid for that notice period otherwise!

Candidates at that level are also often escorted off site when they hand in their notice to go to a competitor. It depends what is written into the contract of employment, particularly about any gap before joining a competitor. As mentioned already, if the intended is already working with Avacta, is self-employed or working for an agency, then 4 weeks is easy.

If I remember correctly (perhaps someone can provide the AGM webcast time point?) AS or EF said they would publish Phase 1a results in a peer-reviewed paper OR a conference paper/abstract. The latter doesn't get peer reviewed and is a normal way for early presentation of findings.

I don't know the possible scope of NDAs but if one could be drawn up then any pharma company worth its salt would be perfectly competent to review the Phase 1a data under a NDA and make its own mind up on the quality of the study, the quality of the analysis and the quality of the results.

So, I would expect a first move at any time after Avacta has finished collating, analysing and summarising the Phase 1a data...

Sometimes these posters may make positive comments, at which time you can guarantee that they are traders who are in and trying to boost the share price, but most of the time they try to drag the share price down for whatever reason: traders, paid bashers, disgruntled ex-employees, badly burnt by losses or just sad individuals with nothing better to do all day, every day.

To me this, if truly added within the last 7 days (why do you believe this specialist breast cancer trial information site has recently been updated?), says:

- C6 is not finding MTD so C7 may be needed - OR - there have been DLTs in C6 and more patients are needed to determine whether MTD has been reached

AND

- Breast cancer is an obvious NEXT indication for AVA6000 and it is as well to get as much data on the effect of AVA6000 on breast cancer tumours now, ahead of any trials specifically on breast cancer

OR ONLY THAT (and I think this is the most likely)

- This site has just discovered this trial for which breast cancer patients in the US are eligible.

Remember we are still in Phase 1a and for recruitment purposes ALL the 12 listed cancers are in play.

Might, for instance, blitzing with a high level of targetted AVA6000 doxorubicin be useful in some cancers/cases or could low levels of administered, highly targetted AVA6000 doxorubicin be used to hold the cancer in check, effectively until cardiotoxicity starts to kick in months or years down the line?
