Why do you say they are holding the share back? The longterm prospects of the share are related to the longterm prospects of the company. A few twunts bashing the stock here only affects the under researched and nervous investor-cum-gambler. All longterm holders should be taking advantage of the frequent oversold and overbought positions to use a trading pot in excess of their core holding to trade down their average cost of this volatile share.

Also why do you think the 'moaner detractor stock bathers' care in the slightest what you or anyone else thinks? They are not serious people with morals or conscience. Their sole interest is to drive the SP up and down to suit their own interests. Put them in the green bin and let them do their work of making marginal differences to the SP. It seems a rather unfulfilling way to live/make a living. If they really bother you just respond to every bash (and pump) with a short 'So-and-so is a trader/troll/basher (or whatever you want to call them). Best ignored.' Never engage them in argument - that is exactly what they want as it gives them the opportunity to perpetuate their snivelling FUD.

A combination of some longterm holders briefly calling them put and the others putting them on filter or just ignoring them would greatly improve the readability of this BB.

@craiga24, I haven't done much of it myself but it's quite simple: decide what your core holding is going to be; if the price drops to what you regard as unrealistically low (like at the moment) then buy more and when the price is pumped unrelistically high (in your assessment), sell. Or vice versa. I've only managed to walk my average down a bit and would have been delighted if the share price flew up at any time. However we may now be approaching the denouement as regards definite success for AVA6000 but there will probably be opportunities to trade whilst still on AIM.

@Emilly, @SoleBoy, in your dealings with Avacta, have they given any indication of how AVA6000 is administered? I gather it is through a back of the hand port, but is it as a bolus injection by syringe in seconds or as a drip from a saline bag over hours?

We will only know we are on the tome straight to approval when we hear that a PIVOTAL study has been given approval to proceed. At the moment, Avacta are aiming (aka hoping) for a pivotal Phase 2 study.
