The use of the term 'placebo' stems from the fact that MED3000 started life as the placebo in FM57 when MED2005 was being trialled. It's continued use has been promulgated by the likes of Liarbooth who used it a negative term in his stock bashing tactics. That's my understanding, anyway, but there again, I tend to blame everything on that tawt!

It's been a cracking week for the SP - perhaps there's a sneaky little RNS about to pop Friday pm - wouldn't be the first time. A little Christmas present for the LTHs!

I'm not so sure, Frankie. I know I've attacked Nicknack in the past, but only because he posted support for Liarbooth. I think he just has reservations about FUM, and TBH, you can't blame him for that. If we want to get this board back to normal, we should read all posts with an open mind and encourage free discussion. As for The Three Recommendations, they had to go somewhere after booth sacked them!

Nicknack said this morning - "The only thing I sense "Coming Soon" is disappointment." How little did he know!

The last few weeks showed a small increase in the SP, however hard the bashers tried, however many times they posted. They even drafted in extra support. Today, the day the sun shone again, the SP is in the doldrums. I find the irony quite amusing!

T.I, I don't know if you saw the comments before they were removed, but he stated on one that I had libelled him, which of course I hadn't ;-) and then posted that I'd broken LSE rules and then copy/pasted the rules he'd considered I'd broken. It was Mr Shouty, of course, so I'd wound him up good and proper to get a reaction, so when he said about the libel etc I immediately complained to LSE and poof! he was gone!

That would be the (second) best Christmas present ever! I fell on my sword a little bit this morning, but it's just a nick and so worthwhile! Looking back down the board, it now appears I've been having massive conversations with myself!
I'd like to nominate ssl as the Board Man of the Year, for taking the fight to the bashers and encouraging us to do the same. I think we were all a bit wary of poking the tiger, and none of us had the time or energy to examine every basher post in detail to refute them, but ssl showed us the way. The tiger turned out to be human, and, as we found, susceptible to being baited, but we must remain vigilant - there's bound to be a second wave. Someone will show up "I'm interested in investing here, but what was that stuff about exclusion criteria?". Having said that, I think it's important that we recognise people who have genuine worries a platform to air their issues, and discuss them in a rational way.

Loads of posts missing now. Liarbooth complained about me suggesting he might be posting on other sites so that post went, so I complained about him accusing me of libel and breaking LSE rules and now his posts have all disappeared. A victory for for LTHs! I don't mind if my posts disappear, but there again I don't get paid for this!

Liarbooth has had my post removed - ooh, poor little lamb! However, if you didn't see it, luckily he has copy/pasted it in his 0817 comment!
