Anthony, please don't take me as a stock basher, I'm not. I was an LTH but sold after FDA, although if the price goes down a bit I will probably buy back in. As for Haleon's involvement, I think it's good for FUM, but I'm not that knowledgeable about the business side of AIM stocks. To me they're all a gamble, regardless of the involvement of famous names, so I don't delve too much into that side of things. It seems a shame that FUM seem to be channelling everything into Eroxon, that's like a double gamble for me. If Eroxon fails, there's no hedging your bets here now! What are your thoughts on all the negative reviews? I know they may well be a concerted attempt by shadowy forces to eliminate competition, but US roll-out will decide that one way or another, IMO. I will keep following and if the price is right, who knows? Good luck, anyway!
81lucky, the main reason people invest in AIM is because they're after the 'one arm bandit' reward. The odds are too stacked against you to think of it as a long term slow burner. LTHs are becoming impatient because the expected boom post FDA didn't happen, well, not to a great extent, and that, coupled with all the poor reviews of the product, has given pause for thought.
Good morning, T.I.! So you sold last week too! 60p+ was just too tempting, wasn't it? I've made good money over the years, and I still have high hopes for this share. I've kept my profit liquid because I hope to come back in, if the price goes down sufficiently. Gotta keep the long gravel drive and the Fantasy Island dream alive! And also there's the LiarBOoth baiting which is too much fun to give up! Good luck, anyway!
I've read that ROC article, but I'm fairly certain they must be mistaken. I don't believe the FDA would class Eroxon as a medical device if it contained any drug or synthetic hormone. Or have I been reading too many of LiarBOoth's obnoxious posts?
Come on, Chizz, get with the program! MED2005 contained GTN, but failed P3 because the placebo, Dermasys, had such a high score. So FUM changed course, and Dermasys became MED3000 without GTN. As I said yesterday, they should have changed the name from Eroxon to avoid all this confusion.
This is a problem of FUM's own making. They should have switched the name from Eroxon after P3 failure. When you google Eroxon, a large proportion of the answers refer to MED2005 rather than MED 3000. I did suggest 'Boneron' and 'Gotwood' at the time, but did they listen?
Hey Chizz, good post, all very gung-ho as befitting a marketing manager! The problem has been that people have been looking for a massive and immediate lift in the SP, similar to when EU approval was granted, because that's what most people on here have been predicting. Even you yourself have been guilty of ramping the FDA announcement, I know I have, hence the disappointment at the rather lackadaisical price rise. But as you say, solid foundations have been laid, and we can look forward to decent returns on our investments. Personally I have no experience in the business world, and very little in investing, I just happened to get lucky with my SIPP and retired at 59, so I think of myself as 'an investor'! So what I'm doing on AIM I've no idea, especially having lost a packet on IMM, but I live in hope of making a small packet here! Gotta get a big gravel driveway like The.Italian's!
All the tests and trials undergone by Eroxon returned the same success rate, as you said, over 60%. Those results are monitored and checked. It's very suspicious how Boots 'customers', who aren't controlled or monitored in any way, show a very different result. All you need to drop a negative review on Boots website is an email address, and for people like LiarBOoth and theButler, spare email addresses are ten a penny. You don't even need an email address to give a thumbs up to a bad review, and a thumbs down to a good one, and yet there theButler is on ADVFN going on about how bad the Boots reviews are, in another attempt to bash the stock, which he's been doing for several years. He's even accused 'rampers' of being the people behind the good reviews on Boots! It's a shame that Boots don't seem to worry about it, but I suppose it doesn't really matter to them whether a product fails or not - there's plenty more things for them to sell. Oh well, investing in AIM is never going to be plain sailing!
LiarBOoth is just waiting in the wings to spout more BS, and as martin said, he's also busy trolling Boots. But wait... a familiar face has just come back to the other place - The Butler, bashing the stock as usual! Amy minute now JohnyBig will be backing him up! As for the changing Avatar, LiarBOoth often does that, particularly if I've been mocking whichever one he's using. I'm now using his old favourite, Gordon Gecko, for Petroc the Proven! Also if I don't post so much over there, LiarBOoth also shuts up, another reason why I'm keeping quiet at the moment.
so sometime in the next thirty days, the.italian! **rubs hands with glee**. you may have noticed that petroc the proven hasn't posted in the other place recently, it's because i've felt a bit dirty trading intimate blows with liarbooth, so i decided to have a detox and deep cleanse to get ready for the fda announcement. when that happens, i shall go and mock him mercilessly for losing all his money on the condom debacle, and probably flog the bulk of my holding. aim really isn't good for my blood pressure! hopefully i'll be investing in my mansion with long gravel driveway and a trip to fantasy island soon! see you in the ****tail bar and i'll treat you and ody (if he makes it!) to a few pina coladas! good luck all!
I just had a look at the Boots website, and was concerned about the thumbs up and thumbs down regarding how helpful the reviews were. It struck me that there were a lot of thumbs down to the helpfulness of good reviews, which suggests to me that the likes of LiarBOoth are trolling the system. Why would you criticise a review just because it was positive? So I spent a little while up-thumbing the positives and down-thumbing the negs. Only seems fair to me!
RE Jet's comment about LOM taking some profit and a nice business to be in, I feel that is just reward for the steadfast way they've backed FUM, even in the dark old days of P3 failure. In my book they can do no wrong. But there again I'm a fairly naive investor, just hoping to make a bit of money towards my trip to Fantasy Island! I can't see 81lucky's predictions all coming true though, I expect I'll sell after the FDA rocket. This share hasn't been great for my blood pressure, even though I'm up at the moment! GLA!
That's not strictly true, Dos. In FM57, the MED with GTN did benefit over 60% of patients, but so did Dermasys on its own so P3 was considered a fail. It may be that the equal level of efficacy in both arms was coincidence, or it could have been just the dermasys giving the results, however there's no way of knowing without a lot of further testing. It's certainly true that the GTN arm didn't fare any better than dermasys alone, but it didn't give zero benefit.
Buffaloben, TMI! This is an investment forum! Re the 1 star reviews, no doubt Liarbooth has been firing them off like he did at Farmaline. No matter, nothing is perfect, it would be a bit suss if it were!
