Hi Jet. The mere fact that this is a small pharma on AIM should give everyone pause for thought. There are lots of good reasons why this might turn into a multi bagger, equally it only takes the slightest thing to crash the SP. For example, both IMM and Futura were both on the verge of greatness, with high SPs going into phase 3 trials, but suddenly they found that the placebo worked so well that the principles failed to meet their endpoints. Both shares fell off the cliff, IMM still on the floor but FUM has decided to try and market MED3000, hopefully snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
If, for example, the FDA trial happens to pick the wrong people, perhaps people who've tried rubbing all sorts of concoctions on their flaccid members to no avail, and MED3000 doesn't work for them, then it's doomed and the SP will tank. There will be lots of circumstances, some just bad luck, that could do the same. That's why I urge caution. I'm holding without taking profits because I made the decision initially that this was worth a punt, so invested what I could afford to lose, and I'm sticking to that. Might still top up if it does go to 48p though! That'll lead to some "Boo! Deramper alert!" comments, no doubt!

Indeed I have been burnt, by IMM a few years ago, but I don't believe I'm bitter. I'd much rather urge caution so that other people don't throw money at a very risky investment because a few rampers are shouting out amazing and unfounded projections of the multi-bagging potential of this share. Indeed it might multi-bag, I really hope it does, but it's almost as likely to go **** up. Let caution be the watchword, ignore the rampers, and remember that by the time you see a bandwagon moving, it's already to late. I'm holding.

Diddums, Ellwhateveryournameis. I've mentiond 48p twice now, and if you took the time to read my posts you'd know I'm no shorter, just a realist because I've done my time here at FUM, and not a 70p newbie desperately trying to claw back my bandwagon investment.

Hmmm, seems to me that 48p is much closer to 53.5p than 75p.

Anyone still think that zwartkop's prediction was ridiculous? I might even be tempted to top up if it does sink to 48p, even though I promised myself to never do that! It will just be pocket money, though. Not a share to bet the farm on!

I agree with your comment about the EU certification, Milktrayman. We are told that after the approval RNS the certification is more or less guaranteed. That being the case, why would it affect the SP unduly, given that it's an event that's expected? Having said that, we've had good RNSs that have sent the SP down, and indifferent ones that sent it up. Newbies are definitely going to have to hold on, just like LTHs did.

Further to The.Italian's comments on ody, it just goes to show what a mercurial and contrary share this is. Ody brought his full intellect, knowledge of science and small pharmas, and experience of the stock market, to bear on this, convinced the SP would go sub-10p when he would buy in. We all had a standing joke with him that he would miss the boat, and then he did. More evidence that this share is not a sure thing, so don't bet the farm on it, folks! It's a gamble, one which I'm really hoping will enrich my portfolio, but won't break me if it doesn't. GLA, especially you new holders with high averages!

Am I really the only one who is suspicious of Chinese involvement? IMO, if they get their hands on the recipe, you can forget the Asian market, and probably Russia as well. What do they care about IP? I feel we should be concentrating on the rest of the world, particularly the USA and Europe. I can't be the only one because the RNS regarding the Chinese deal didn't generate the interest that Friday's announcement did. A little bubble which soon burst.

You bought in at 72p hoping for a quick buck, but all your pumping hasn't worked and you're sitting on a big fat loss. I've absolutely no doubt that you won't be here once we've breached a pound as you'll have dumped by then, and frankly I'll be delighted at not seeing your same old ramps every other comment. I didn't advocate trading this share btw, in fact I recommended holding. God, you P&Ders are boring!

If you want to trade this share and not lose your money, I'd suggest listening to zwartkop and ignoring spacetomato. I know it's easy to be beguiled by tomato's sweet whisperings, but they are just sweet nothings. Zwartkop, although much harder to listen to, is the voice of reason. He's been here a while and often posted controversial comments, but mainly because people didn't want to hear them. But going by my experience with this share, just hold and ignore the ups and downs of the SP, and the ramps and deramps that inevitably follow. They're mainly hot air and based on guesswork.

I think I must have had a premonition about Friday, because on Wednesday I booked a holiday in Greece for September (fingers crossed!) and on Thursday I arranged for a double glazing salesman to visit!

Dunno why Pfizer keep being mentioned regarding lost sales of Viagra. Their patent expired last year and you can buy generic syldanafil for pennies. I suspect that their covid jabs, which every country in the world wants to get their hands on, is occupying their minds a little more than taking over a relatively unknown small pharma. If there is to be a takeover, I would suspect a company that has missed out on the great covid vaccine race.

That's odyspeak for you, nic. I think the confusion arises from Dermasys being designated the placebo in the trial, then became something else when it was found to be efficacious in it's own right. They then changed the name to MED3000 and ody changed it's designation to vehicle. There again, ody thinks that MED3000 is the same as any old hand sanitiser, for which there are plenty of home made recipes on the internet. Of course, that's completely ignoring the fact that Dermasys is FUM's core product around which their whole business is centered:

I don't think FUM will have survived this far if their core product had been hand gel! There again, given Covid, we might all have been millionaires by now!
