Ody, I'm surprised that you're asking me for a balanced update - I just challenge things people say and occasionally make a useless prediction! If you want balance, ask The.Italian. My opinion is very similar to DrNielsen's - zero or many zeroes, which is why I often say don't bet the farm on it. A bit like putting all your money on black or red. I'm more sanguine than Surfie about it which is why I haven't sold up yet. My personal opinion, based on previous performance, is short sharp rises, based on good news coming out, followed by long and slow pullbacks, where people complain about buying in too high or not selling when they had the chance. Surfie caught the wave on that one and sold at the right time, so all those years of moaning at FUM paid off for him! I'll probably stay in until a successful FDA trial then sell, fingers crossed. Not that I'm bothered too much either way, after getting stung with IMM I keep my investments here small. My worst tranche was my last one when I bought a bunch of discounted shares at 40p. Oh well, I'm still swimming with my head above water!

You sound like you know what you're talking about, so just say if you think cash up front for increased pension is a good investment. I'm beginning to think it is, as long as I don't die too soon, eh, The.Italian! There again, what will I care if I'm dead?

Third week in a row I've said this, however this is even better than usual at nearly 5% as I write. Could something be on the cards? My little discounted tranche is just waiting to be set free, and at 50p I will probably do so!
BTW, my run of luck is continuing - I've just received a P800 from the taxman telling me that they owe me some money. About time as well as I've been telling them that for 4 months! It's all to do with the extra pension I found out about recently. God knows how the're going to mess it up in September when they start paying my state pension!
Totally off topic here, but has anyone decided to pay off some missed NICs in order to increase their state pension? Looks like if I pay them £3200 before September, they'll increase my weekly pension by £15, less tax. There are so many variables here that I'm thinking a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, but on the other hand with the triple lock that £15 will increase exponentially until I die. What to do?

I don't disagree with anything you've said, I too hate all the sunshine and unicorns stuff. Indeed, I myself have been known to pass the odd comment that some might call deramping, but when someone has a clear agenda and blocks up the boards with mainly irrelevant and outdated misinformation clearly designed to put people off, then it needs calling out.
I also agree with your assessment of MED3000 as possible game changer. The modern way of using cialis as a low dose regular treatment breaks new ground, but like Viagra, it still requires forethought and planning. Perfectly good for a couple in a relationship, but for the single man playing the field, a topical, fast acting treatment is surely the answer to his prayers. Not to mention all those people who can't use cialis/viagra for several other reasons. Definitely a gap in the market here.

Have you noticed the scum have been silent this week? Even on ADVFN they haven't commented since the 16th. I wonder if they've been poorly - nothing trivial, I hope ! Things are definitely looking up, but sadly we're losing some old hands. Hopefully they didn't let the scum's constant deramping influence their decisions, I'm sure they didn't but lesser stalwarts might have been persuaded. This time last week I commented that the end of the week provided a nice little uptick, and it's happened again this week. LOM seem able to manipulate the SP where they want it, so I'm glad they're on our side!

Sorry to hear you're leaving, idg69 old chum. I've got to pull you up on one thing before you go though, about the SP going down more than it goes up. Since the cliff edge of P3 failure, it's been doing the opposite. 8p after cliff edge, 15p at year end, and 40 odd p today. That's a fairly decent rise, it just doesn't seem like it when it slowly drops between rises. However, from reading your posts, it appears you've lost the appetite for this kind of gamble. Can't blame you for that. Good luck, and don't forget about TingTing!

There are two points I'd like to make regarding PET500. The first is that there was already an efficaceous and very similar product already established on the market, Stud100. Secondly, although the link doesn't point this out, I imagine the spray was used on an already erect pen1s, in order to measure desensitisation. Therefore erectogenic effects would not have been reported, and also they wouldn't have used trial subjects who suffered from ED. Which means this comparison is totally meaningless.

Nice little uptick in the SP at the end of the week. That sometimes happens when those in the know expect news next week...

Hey, miti1000, I've found my discounted shares! PrimaryBid phoned me today to say that HL had declined them. I called HL and apparently PB had given them a number that wasn't my client number, so all sorted now! Just in time to flog 'em for a quick return next week when the SP touches 50! Not because I'm dis-investing in FUM, just because I've already got a high enough stake in what I consider to be a coin toss investment, regardless of all the noise from rampers and derampers alike. I just couldn't let that 40p discounted price go without having a stab at it. Historically the SP has rallied quickly after a dilution so I thought it was a safe bet. *Top tip alert!* I bunged a few k into a Wealthify adventurous growth account 3 weeks ago and it's already grown by 3%. That's better than FUM has done in the same time frame! And unlike FUM, it's recommended for widows and orphans!

I thoroughly endorse The.Italian's post. I notice the scum has changed their tack on LSE and engaging more with other posters, and not constantly posting out of date info and links like they used to as they got so much flack. If any proof be needed to see how they wreck a discussion board just nip over to ADVFN. It's a wasteland where the scum post as lbo, still doing the outdated link thing, and a couple of other board members keep trying to argue with them. It doesn't work so just filter and ignore, or if you can't bear to filter, read and ignore. Let's not go down the route they've purposely taken ADVFN down and are trying to do here.
