Bluebird Merchant Ventures (#BMV) has announced, following recent meetings in South Korea, advancing plans including for community programmes and land for mine access for the Gubong gold project and that for its Kochang gold and silver project “discussions regarding a potential JV with the same consortium that invested in Gubong are at an advanced stage”. This is further positive news from a now up to 1.5p share price, a still below £11 million market capitalisation.

Agreed the Tories have a lot to answer for but it's hardly been a success story from the Labour party in Wales. A choice of a slow death under the Conservatives or a quick one under Labour. Not much to look forward too either way so I'll be voting Reform. Apologies for off topic.

With regards to your advice I should say that I have averaged down around current prices although I'm still well below water. As I said I'll wait to see what happens with Croda. If it does comes off then I anticipate that I will recoup a good amount of my losses and maybe even achieve a small profit! Either way that will be the time that I will exit as going forward I just do not have confidence in the current management.

Toyin, Thanks for your comments although I must respectfully disagree.

My comments were not emotional, they are based on the facts of the managements performance to date that I believe to be lacking. I certainly do not rant and rave either and I have no idea why you say that.

I always try to view my investments strictly on a risk reward basis so will not be selling now as I believe the Croda deal will come through and that the current share price will increase significantly. If this pans out as I hope selling now, as you suggested, just does not make any sense at all.

I don’t know why some of the louder detractors don’t just sell their shares and move on?

The one obvious answer is that they are probably waiting on the deal with Croda in the hope that they can recoup their losses. I certainly am and will get out if it comes off as I have no confidence in the CEO and CFO. It's perfectly understandable too that many investors will be feeling disgruntled with the companies performance to date. Like you they are perfectly entitled to vent their views and opinions.

Always a few 'nervous nellies' on every board but deep down they will all know the size of the prize here. Personally I'm relaxed and confident that we will get good news announced once the company are fully satisfied with the Roan upgrade and commissioning.

The Saudi assets alone are worth more than the current share price.
