03/04/26 - Cipla USA received FDA approval for Nintedanib Capsules which are a generic equivalent of Boehringer's OFEV, they also an announced immediate launch. The market is roughly $4bil.

NXP002 could be the very differentiator/combination of the two, that will enable Boehringer to beat the competition. OR maybe, Cipla may be interested.

Basically, there could/should/hopefully is, a lot of interest in this product. It's just a waiting game for that juicy RNS.

Yesterday someone shared some shizzle about AstraZeneca's live IPF research page stating their ambition to "stop fibrosis in its tracks." NXP002 showed near-complete fibrosis ablation in human lung tissue last week. AZ also makes Lynparza which forecasts 9.7bn dollars annual sales by 2028. NXP004 is a patented improved form of that exact drug with protection running to 2041 and step-change dissolution performance already demonstrated.

Dan Gooding has personal relationships at AstraZeneca from his career.

If you read into AZ abit further, AZ signed a 500m dollar preclinical licensing deal just 6 weeks ago. A combined NXP002 + NXP004 deal with AstraZeneca... one partner, two assets, upfront payment potentially exceeding £50m on our company currently valued at £5.35m. It's all entirely possible. Even if they bite for one asset will be huge for a company at this value.

AZ's stated ambition is to "stop fibrosis in its tracks." NXP002's May 2026 data showed near-complete ablation of fibrosis biomarkers in combination with existing treatments. That's stopping it in human lung tissue. Literally demonstrated right there. AZ are searching for exactly what NFX has built.

I'm wondering if the £1 million placing is the actual partner who is currently doing the due diligence as a sort of show of intent.

At the very least, whoever that investor is, must have been told which partner/what sort of deal, is potentially on the market should this due diligence go smoothly.
