You do realise these "salt caverns" have to be created ?? lol,,, it takes a significant amount of time and is VERY costly to create, for example Storenergy created salt caverns in Cheshire for gas, it only cost them around HALF A BILLION spondullahs to do that.... At least he sort of understands it,,, pretty much as I posted in the previous post and in the past, BUT his BOOSTER claims are a "little" flawed, the booster compressor does not pull on the wells, it simply enables them to open the well chokes more, which will initially flow more but at lower pressure, the booster takes that gas at lower pressure and simply boosts it purely to do nothing more than send it boosted to the main compressors at above the minimum pressure threshold.

Temp does play a "small" part in Dew point issues, but mainly it is down to pressure, therefore regardless of the booster compressor, they WILL produce significantly more liquids initially, and then it will again slowly overload the tubing to surface and choke back gas production.

IFFFF they install the Booster WITH velocity tubing in the wells, then yes, they will remove "some" of the liquids loading in the new tubing, BUT they will have to handle the increased liquids at surface.

the gas is coming out quiet "slowly" because they have no choice, if they open them up more then they lower the flowing pressure even more and induce more liquids which results in slowly choking off the free gas to surface, it is an unfortunate side effect of heavy depletion and limiting dew point threshold.

and ermmmm no **** sherlock,,,, we drill more wells, we get it out faster !!!! uhhhhhhh, along with a lot more induced liquids, so along with the costs of these dreamy extra wells, there will be the cost of working out surface plant control for the significant increases of liquids that will come with it..

THEY will spout on about stuff like this because "ON PAPER" it is potentially recoverable, my point is that it is almost certainly SUB economical to achieve that, and likely that depletion influences will take their toll well before that.

I don't need to take it up with anyone, it is the NATURE of depleted gas fields such as this WORLDWIDE.........

The 25 bcf he is claiming as "recoverable" is in REALITY almost certainly unachievable, for both economical reasons, meaning the cost of deeper and deeper field & well adjustments to keep up with the depletion and associated reservoir pressure/dew point & associated induced liquids effects, and the economics of the general field running costs, including the fact that the compressors and generators are also feeding from the same produced gas.

They will probably do well to ever get 1/2 to 2/3 of that and as noted above, it won't come cheaply.

SLBY "Was" what could be deemed "a golden goose" for this lot, it HAD all the hallmarks to turn them around and bring retail some real value, but their "reputation" quickly shone through, unfortunately it is in their blood line and unlikely to be any different going forward, their WHOLE history is the same pattern.....
