If you wish to have a look through the posts the company have made it clear that they do not need the EIA to sign up with a partner. That can come later.

People can pick and choose through the various posts and select certain parts to try and knock the company.

Let us see what the new week brings - the publicity caused by the potential 'mis-speaks' by government officials have certainly left something in the air. The recent broadcast on Bahamian news channel suggesting there is good support for drilling may of course mean nothing.

As we know - the company will stick to any NDA. There is a huge difference on paper between the comments from the government officials and the BoD at BPC.

I am sure interest has not waned over the weekend and the guppies will be jumping in the water to grab whatever morsel is available. There will of course be a lot of sharks about too and taking their cut.

Davie - whilst it appears like the same feeding frenzy we had last year we have a couple of subtle differences.

1/ Scully is not posting - well not under that handle anyway.

2/ We have had a statement from both the AG and the DPM.

The latter point of course has not been confirmed by the company, nor hinted at by any potential partner.

There is a difference in feeling here. There has not been the massive amount of posts in comparison to last year and I think people know (in the main) not to go rattling their jaws and spouting possible nonsense - unless perhaps you are a government minister.

I logged on to read the posts from last night and this morning and by the time I got to the message I realised the time 830am. So I have only gone and missed Specialist1.

The notification received from the Government also stipulates that the Government and BPC must in the coming months agree a forward work programme for 2019 and 2020 and a reconciliation of licence fees already paid, including during the period of disruption, with any future licence fees due up to the end of 2020. The forward programme will include the process for Environmental Authorisation, in accordance with the relevant Act and Regulations, based upon an application already submitted by the Company in April 2018. The Government has advised of the engagement of Black & Veatch, a leading petroleum industry consultant, to assist with this process. Black & Veatch previously advised the Government in the process for the Company's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), filed in 2012.

Lots of complaints about timescales here but the black gold we all desire has taken a lot longer to develop.

We/well I bought BPC in the belief that one day the company would drill for oil, find some and I would make some money.

Whilst the price has risen we are no further forward on paper than we were 9 months ago.

That off hand comment by the AG may well be the catalyst to greater things but for anyone thinking of pushing their life savings in here at the moment please take a step back and look at how volatile this share can be.

For those sitting on a profit be careful about your stop losses - the price can fluctuate wildly and cut you out.

If you are in profit and sell - you are still in profit so be thankful.

And for what its worth - I would not want to be out of this over the weekend LOL.

Quickpix - they cannot carry on as they have. There are now limits - there is now agreement and conditions have been set.

Just have to join the dots and see what the picture looks like.

again and let us be honest with ourselves - we do not know for sure what will happen.

Excitement abounds of course and we can all look to dream about what our fortunes may be - just ensure you can afford to lose what you invest.

The potential for some (if not all) is lifechanging. Remember last year that one could have walked away with a very healthy profit and the future prospects could have been much larger.

Don't keep all your eggs in the basket and ensure you get at least your investment back out at a time that suits.

The board has a number of opinions and remember that is all they are - there are as people have noticed some antagonists here - but it is a public board - do your own research - use the filter button if it gets too much.

Most of all enjoy the ride here - it was very interesting 10 months ago.
