I Well your facts about Virgin are a bit awry. They have 39 planes presently 17 787s on order and another 6 A380s under consideration. Are Flybe slots at Birmingham ( where they are the largest airline) and Southampton worth anything?
Well look at the 3 year chart on this page. The sp went up nicely from Jul 16 to Jan 18 and then plunged so my initial forecast was quite good. Even though I am sure by now you know my maxim all forecasts are wrong including mine. So why has it gone down in the last year - Barclays too. Well Barclays has had ibterbinternal problems not least the whistle blower scandal. I suspect part of our prob is lack of profitability or diversification
Latest on Sky news. This pair just had their wish for worlds largest train manufacturer involving Siemens turned down. Shame! Oh dear, how sad, never mind!
Lanrokes were 3 to 1 on a no deal. odds are falling fast. Could not be anythibg to do with that nasty Tusk! And he has not been to the UK to put EU case. They are thoroughly nasty and we are well out of it. Corbyn certainly agrees. Paddy power out in front still
The reason is that most MPs as Thatcher would have said are frit. Thornberry is going on about a customs union. But that is not leaving the EU. For an intellifent woman she is completely thick!!!
Donald Tusk just stated a special place in hell reserved for those who started Brexit. TALK ABOUT OUT OF ORDER!!!!! Never heard such disgraceful language from a politician and an unelected one at that!
In 2017 The Stock Exchange said 232,000 jobs were at risk in financial services. How many have actually been lost. 2,000 yes two thousand only. Sounds like the dreaded Carnage had a hand in the ridiculous forecast. As I say all forecasts are wrong.
i believe forecasting is fool hardy occupation. just see what the B of E Governor Carnage efforts before the brexit vote and after for that matter. When I was a Chartered Financial Planner my maxims were all forecasts are wrong and always expect the unexpected. Carnage is not a misprint. How is EU going to get out of recession. A hge worry for the bloc.
I think you will find that Captain Morellis Mandoline was written by Louis de Bernieres. I agree about Denis Wheatly when I was young read all his production. My favourites To the Devil a Daughter and The Devil Rides Out.
The Power of One was written by Bryce Courtenay. The little boy in the film Guy Witcher was the son of people I knew and attended the same primary school as my kids. Morgan Freeman was excellent in the lead role.
Hi I am back. You raise an interesting argument about climate change. At the time of Henry VIII the population of the BRITISH crown was about 5.6 million compared with a UK figure of roughly 60 million today. In Henrys time there were 139 sizeable vineyards compared with 522 in 2017.So why was the climate in the 1500s warmer than today. No industrial revolution then.
