Yes Minford was wrong. In fact there is the capacity for food prices to fall more. Cars in their present form not for much longer anyhow.

But you missed out the reasoning. Minford pointed out that UK car manufacturing would decline because of the cheap imports which would result from Brexit. Not even a twinkle in anyones eye at that time (2012)

I remember when we were due to open the inspection at Ramsgate branch. This usually (but not always) started 10 minutes after closing at 3.30.
