RE: Re nervous8 Dec 2020 13:33
LMG / LG whatever you want to call have been scooping subscribing "Media" business left /right and centre for a while now
Their most recent acquisition was Virgin Media in UK - which is where they mentioned MVR on Virgin radio as well if I am not wrong ? LN Global simultaneously tweeted MVR's Wireless festival from every country LN is based and in every language - Liberty Global and Telefonica merged their UK opertaions (Telefonica is O2 - partnered with MVR)
Pandora Music, was 3rd largest subscriber streaming service in US when it started to loose listeners - largely due to change of tech + apple + spotify and suffered -
Pandora dropped from peak and its SP suffered massively. (NYSE)
I bought **** loads - 2 weeks later its CEO was seen visiting GS - so I went all in.
In came LMG and bought out entire Pandora (via Sirius) it was gone before I could blink or load more - anyway I made enough.
25 percent of Americans use Pandora Music (still)
Pandora’s largest age demographic is 25 to 34 year olds, followed by 18 to 24
Pandora as a result of LMG has improved a lot - bleeding stopped
but LMG still preping to take over spotify and apple and the rest
combine pandora plus sirius plus Napster plus few others specially at rock bottom prices -
this is signature JM - he as late as few months reallocated his entire stake around the group - something which is still pinned to my twitter post.
for your own sanity - this is the abridged version and I'll leave it there.
Please note that MVR link could be wrong - its my research and you can find many reasons to support it - so stay open minded.
