Think that the author just had a moment with the "PETRA / PETREL" names.
On reading the article I do not think that the author is stating that the differential is due purely to cell size, rather that the SLB PETREL software uses many smaller chunks of data to build its analysis (rather than averaging data sets to create larger cells )so should be more accurate, lower down in the article potential variables in data input are mentioned that may explain much of the difference between PETRA & PETRAL results .
But thanks for your post it made me read the article a little closer with the added benefit of your comments :-)

the hearing pack camp photos are Sep2022 pre the planned upgrade to increase production capability, sand chiefs and pumping trucks on site fraccing operation in progress.

does anyone have any idea as to how much water is injected against tanked and indeed how successfully formation water would be separated on site from frac fluid if at all.

think 10-12 days may be optimistic based on previous wells, normally the first week or so is quite slow due to surface casing installation and BOP testing etc.
your comment regards Rig-2 capability noted and certainly appears a notch up on the the similar Artic Fox we have used at Icewine-2 and Merlin-2, so lets hope all goes well.

My own view is that the rig and ice roads contractors will want some form of assurance that we are in a position to meet our debts before they mobilise, there are probably options as to how we achieve that but a CR must be the most obvious.
Sorry if that is not the answer that some desire but I would much prefer we are able to drill successfully Hickory-1 this winter rather than have to sit it out because we have insufficient funds.

Must admit I would prefer that Accumulate get rig onto the pad as early as possible, although the winter season could extend to the end of April, more likely we will off the ice by Mid April at the latest so any extra days we can scrape at the start will be very useful just to cover any delays / mechanical mishaps and hopefully give time for a flow test.
Positive is that we are very close to the Dalton which will be great for logistics and should save money.

plenty of statements that are dubious.
Example

ANWR is miles away as is the NPRA, all leases surrounding PANR are state and subject to same terms and conditions.
Just look at what Santos & COPL are developing on state land.
