Apart from permits there will be Bonds (DOG) and possible pre payments to contractors etc. to ensure equipment is available, remember lots of activity planned on N Slope this winter by other companies as well.

mikemike off topic but do you remember the days when the NH scrums decimated the SH (excepting possibly RSA) and the SH tried to emasculate the scrum at every opportunity, well AB would not let that happen now would they?

IG if you look at the SP since last Septembers shut in you will see it has performed, EVEN someone buying in the days just prior to the shut in could have made money during the late spring early summer spikes before the last well opening.

I am invested in the company, believe it is making progress and do not use the SP as any meaningful measure of company /venture progress.

mikemike it always seemed a panic move and I remember quite a few being sceptical of it ever happening, partly because of the reserves issue, POO has recovered some what so perhaps it will not happen now.

Jaffas sounds as if you believe you will get your money back or why else would you hold?
In the last two years there have been a plenty of spikes which would have enabled you to have sold unless of course you got in on a spike.
The HRZ was always 50/50 but some saw only what they wanted to see.

Quite simple do you believe the company is going to be worth a lot more in 3,6,12 months, if you do even 4p plus will possibly seem a great deal, usual caveats apply when investing in oil exploration, but Dr Stephen Staley has an excellent track record and projects are well differentiated.
