DW was asked about this and answered;

"26. Shut in commenced September 18th. Market/shareholders not advised until September 21st. Why wasn't this significant turn of events reported immediately?
DW 18th AK time is 19th Oz time. 2 days to assess whether it made sense to undertake any additional operations (like a small pressure buildup and reopen the well for a week or so). Ultimately the decision was made to cease operations post that two day decision making process."

We do not know what discussions between the various stakeholders took place so DW's explanation is the only thing we have, up to you if you believe.

Based on ANNs and ASX rules on continuous disclosure its probably reasonable to assume the discussions / negotiations are ongoing still.
What the RESULTS will be no one here knows, might be none, may be disappointing, what is sure they will not please everyone.

moneyhawk correct and those rules also the explain the unenviable position DW was put into by the twitter leak just recently.
Although some the question of the validity of research it is this sort of basic verification that can give some understanding of why things happen, the likely pitfalls and of course enables one to detect and answer (or ignore) some of the rubbish posted here.

After the many Company Statements in ANNs including the Annual Report to Shareholders the BOD would have to be very stupid indeed if discussions / negotiations are not still ongoing.

What the substance or end result of those talks will be none of us know, so I can understand concerns expressed by some, think every investor must have at least a twinge of uncertainty.
As ever am intrigued by the claimed invested (plus some none invested) who seem to take every opportunity to denigrate the BOD and twist and spin "facts" to produce the worst possible picture of the company and it's ventures, seems a strange strategy unless of course …….!

kelladee that does not validate it, FO relates to Icewine conventional and secondly unconventional, very different to the 4 leases that we have a part share in known as the Western Blocks, yes would have been nice to have chalked up a win but someone seriously looking at Icewine will be looking at the data presented for those prospects and not
a different geological profile miles away.

why not do some research before you post an untruthful statement and why not indicate the currency in which DW receives his salary, he has put most of his salary back into the company not half.
