spike did not someone say that conditions precedent will not delay signing, only that if specific conditions subsequent to signing are not achieved they may negate the deal?
So an announcement could be imminent based on that information.

Guz thanks but does not include the big private companies such as Hunts who release very little financial data, would Woodside Petroleum be classed as a tier1? its all questions :-)

if someone wants to give a clear and definite definition of a Tier 1 and then name who those companies would be I am all ears, will not just be the accepted majors I imagine.
What ultimately is important is that we get a partner with integrity that can finance a drilling programme and prove a good partner, probably a bit of tenacity would help - we want a winner.
