Take a look at some of the more volatile AIM shares making competent traders money at the moment and look at some of their stories, not all bad of course but we are what we are and we have something big happening in the near future.
Still risks of course but massive potential IMO

TD thanks for your comment, I am pleased you used the link to validate what I was saying, Oil Search who are big players on the slope amalgamate operational bulletins monthly so there are options, perhaps as a much larger company "price sensitive" means less to them than for little 88E. I expect plenty of news but that just my opinion.

ASX has fairly concise and easy to understand rules on continuous disclosure plus the usual exceptions to those rules, as an oil explorer 88E is also subject to an additional responsibility to declare hydrocarbon discoveries, in the past DW has issued regular operational bulletins and unless PMO think otherwise I imagine we may well see the same again.
Sure any price sensitive information will have to be declared in AIM exactly as per ASX unless an exception is allowed in the rules.

19:02 good points, remember too that 88E is actually an Australian Company operating in the US and gives additional complications in terms of regulation, think specifically of trading halts although it also gives us regular financial reporting also.
We also have the hours difference that means that one market or the other always gets the "drop" on the other.

TD nothing wrong with that strategy, just make sure you press the button when your head(strategy) tells you to do it, we are all ( or should be) to make money even if we different attitudes to risk.

18:14 when this starts to move it will be the traders who will make it happen, my only reservation is that some traders will be very "pro" on the board up to the moment they trade and often virulently "anti" after, guess its for the rest of us to recognise the disingenuous :-)
